I had acquired about 70% of the trophies so far on my  PS3 when it died on me with the YLOD.
Following this purchased a SLIM, I have managed to get the old PS3 repaired too.
As DA:Origins saves can't be transfered I am wondering the following.

If i unlock the trophies I am missing by starting a new game on my SLIM will it unlock the platinum trophy or do I have to unlock every trophy on the same machine ? ( ie : does the game unlocks the platinum when it thinks you have unlocked every trophy or does the PS OS notice you have every trophy and grants you the plat at that time ?).
I would rather restart the game on the SLIM as I don't think the repaired PS3 will last forever but I really don't want to have to redo the 2 walkthrough I already did on my old PS3.......


Anyone knows ??

I think trophies are only tied to your PSN account so as long as you've synched your most up-to-date trophy list to the PSN server and using the same account/PS3 profile on your new PS3 it should just let you continue your initial progress with trophies.

Try backing up the old PS3 and restoring to the new PS3 thats how I transferred my DAO saves.
