Hello good people! recently I have been trying to load up KOTOR, and after the three initial screens, the game will not load up and when I click on the screen after a couple minutes of waiting an error message comes up saying the program is not responding. Has anyone had this problem, and been able to find a solution for it? I would be very grateful. Also I have tried disabling the intro, disabling the "Steam community in-game" (playing on Steam), als tried disabling the Hardware Mouse as others have recommended. I even tried window mode to see what would happen but it didnt even go to a windowed mode. I have no Idea how to get this to work, and this is why I am coming here for help. I use Windows 7 by the way.

I'm having trouble myself, only I get all the way to the menu but then I can't press anything. The mouse cursor is there but when I click nothing happens. I can't use the keyboard either.
How do you get the game to go into windowed mode and how do you disable the hardware mouse?
I'm on the Steam version, Windows 7, 64-bit.

i found a fix but i dotn like it so im searching for another, in the config disable vids, the gmae works but you miss all the cutscenes.
