Simple topic. Who was better in you opinion?

I prefer Sovereign. Sovereign's voice sent chills down my spine and scared the hell out of me. Harbinger was good but didn't instill the same effect. He's still an excellent reaper tho.

 I'd say Harbinger has better lines, though. In part because he has so many and Sovereign has so few, but still...

Reapers are 500 meters to 2 kilometers long, Sovereign is 2 kilometers long.

Harbinger had more lines but what little we heard from Soveriegn was pure gold. He really made you feel like an ant among gods. "You exist because we allow it, and you will end because we demand it."

Well I meant moreso that Sovereign constantly seemed to be on the defensive when it came to Shepard whereas Harbinger launches no less than 3 attempts (that almost all do the job) to stop Shepard.

Well that was mostly because Soveriegn never considered Shepard a real threat. He just went along with his plans with the assumption nothing could stop him.

Harbinger knew exactly who his major threat was and sent the Collector ship to waste his arse. Had soveriegn truely considered him a threat he probably would have sent a fleet of geth after the Normandy

Sovereign was more intimidating, Harbringer seems like a pushover but maybe it`s because we have defeated a reaper already and all of Harbringers threats seem like jokes now.

Sure but it still leaves Sovereign in the position of defender whereas Harbinger is directly confronting Shepard throughout the game.

I think Sovereign sounded much better; when I first heard harbinger in the launch trailer I thought he sounded cheesy. Sovereign was way more sinister, and was revealed in a more dramatic way- that room on Virmire, was oddly haunting.

That's not to say that harbinger doesn't have great story potential (i.e. realising he was just controlling a collector.) but on the whole, he's just annoying more than anything else. I think the fear element of reapers works because they're hardly present.

Hopefully ME3 won't make reapers seem weak, i'm already worried about the fact that they're going to be everywhere...
