From researching online, it seems to be the conventional wisdom that you can't have more than one inspiration running at one time, even if there are multiple bards present.  I saw a couple of contradictory posts, though, and decided to test it out.

It works!  Multiple bards can have multiple inspirations running, as long as they're all different.  Oh boy!  I'm scrapping my SoZ plans right now and starting over with an all-Bard PrC party: a Canaith Lyrist, Stormsinger, Lyric Thaumaturge, and a Dissonant Chord.  Say hello to Inspire Courage + Competence + Defense + Regeneration, plus a zillion uses of Curse Song!
