If he's romanceable in ME 3 my Shep will break his heart

=O how could you:crying::crying: that would just be so sad, you monster! :crying:

It's because of him that Shep became a cyborg! Joker will pay for that in a special playthrough of ME 3 that I'll do

Joker's kind of an ass. Don't think its in his personality to be grateful or apologize for anything.

It was also Joker's fault you died in the first place. Would've been nice for at least a brief "Sorry I was being so stubborn."

The irony here is that Joker must now die in ME3 for this reason.

This. If I got all apologetic and stuff,I would find it out of his character. He will try to turn even the most serious situation into a joke, that's what he does.
And true,he is a stubborn ****** but he is a great pilot and he trusts Shepard.

Maybe he was hoping Shepard wouldn't remember how she ended up getting spaced. So why risk bringing it up when it would only lead to an awkward conversation.

If Joker had left his post, a lot more people would have been lost on the Normandy...he did his job. Jokers continued attempted evasive maneuvers would have saved a lot more lives than if he had left his post...has anyone considered that?

As for apologies...the Normandy was a military ship on military business...Joker did his job, Shepard did his....should there be apologies all around every time someones life is placed in danger or lost during military action?

Joker isn't the captain, he's the helmsman. So he needs to get over himself and get off the ship faster.

He didn't apologize for getting me killed either. But then again it took nearly 3 years for Altair to say sorry to Malik for doing the thing that caused him to loose his arm and be stuck in a desk job so maybe Joker's just you know working up to it.

True but he should have cleared out as soon as Shepard told him.  He instead dithered about saving the Normandy, an obviously lost cause.  How was he supposed to fly when he was basically in a bubble, with no engines nor hull?  Not only that, but Shepard manhandled him to get him moving and he whined about his arm.  To add insult to injury, instead of just throwing the glass-legged pilot into the escape pod, Joker sort of stumbled in, blocking Shepard and wasting time.  Granted Shepard had a derp moment by looking back at the Collector laser slicing the Normandy up, and those few seconds were enough to have an explosion knock Shepard away from the pod.  But face it, the only one who did as they were supposed to at that moment was Shepard.

Not to mention if it wasn't for Shepard dying, Joker would probably never had those leg upgrades thanks to Cerberus.  The LEAST he could have done was send him a thank you card.

Is there still a Hallmark in the future, or is it now Holomark?  American Greetings=Alliance Greetings?

Joker agreed to go on a SUICIDE mission with Shepard and stuck around even after having the crud scared out of him with the Cerberus crew being abducted. He provided cover fire with an assault rifle while Shepard ran for the Normandy (stupidest move I ever saw him do, what the F*%# were the other teammates doing?!)
I'll take those as thank you enough. Guys don't talk about their feelings, they show it, right? 2 years is pretty awkward to bring the subject up and Shepard's alive so one could say they moved on.
Besides, you can always get him deliberately killed by a Praetorian or a gasbag husk if you want revenge.

He does bring it up, just in a very offhand way ("I saw you get spaced").

It's one of the main reasons why I dislike Joker.

I definitely agree with you - and further: why didn't Shep went together with Joker in the escape pod but instead watching the collectors destroying the ship? Everytime I see the ME2 intro I am thinking that the own stupidity gots Shep killed.

And: we see Shepard and Joker meeting at the Cerberus station and the next time on the new Normandy. How much time between both scenes are gone is not known, but as they had to give the Normandy a name and maybe finalise some things, it is likely that it took some days or weeks until they could board the Normandy again. In this time I am sure that Shepard and Joker talked to each other - they meet again after 2 years, and he is the only one at this station that Shepard knows from the past and that is/was considered as friend.

Joker: Shepard, you died for real and for 2 years.
Shepard: I know. I didn't get the Critical Mission Failure screen to load.

The man who destroyed Sovereign (Or however you spell him) and saved your ass at the end of ME2 doesn't need to thank Shepard, in fact Shep should thank him!

Yeah Shepard decided to go back for Joker, she/he didn't need to it was all Sheaprds choices, plus there was the whole standing at the entrance of the escape pod and watching the Normandy getting destroyed that made Shepard lose time, so in the end it isn't really Jokers fault.

You know I like Joker. But he's a total douche. I find him amusing but seriously. HE GOT YOU KILLED and then didn't say sorry or thank you and then continued to mouth off to you and make jokes about that whole two years dead thing.

You don't need all your fingers, right Joker? *snap*
