Oh, thanks for pointing that out TX-Toast....of course i did know it is a DA2 DLC...i meant we have seen enough of the fighting in DA2, so  couldn't they give us a tiny insight into the story?

Feraele....keep going till the end....you will feel so much better. :)

However, am I the only one who noticed that the darkspawn antagonist in Legacy is supposed to have been imprisioned for 2000 years? That puts it about 700 years before the First Blight, and about 800 years before the founding of the Wardens.

Good catch!  Maybe history as it's been written is inaccurate.  It's always been clear that the codex is written by people within the game world, rather than by the writers, so inaccuracies coulpd be fun.

Also, the trailer LOOKED like it had a dwarf with a armored Bronto fighting by his side.  Could be run into Jerrick and Snug in this DLC?

Considering this DLC involves Wardens I doubt it.

But if we do see Snug I'll be happy.

And who is to say that Jerrick Dace did NOT join the Grey Wardens? :P

That having been said, I looked at it again and the dwarf is using a 2H axe, so he probably isn't a rogue.  Ah well.

EDIT: Hm.  Just occured to me that the Conductor (is that right?) looks enough like the Architect that said Emissary might be wrong is his belief that he was th efirst Darkspawn to develop sentience.

I certainly hope we won't have to kill Jerrik and Snug. I liked them.

I have this strange feeling we can choose to either let the Conductor go free by siding with him but have to kill Wardens or do the complete opposite.

I really don't want to kill Corypheus.

I also like how a bronto in the clip gores a dwarf.

I'm not quite sold on this DLC yet. Like others have mentioned, I would've preferred one set after the game. And in particular, I'm more interested in the character's relationships with eachother than Hawke's lineage.

So, if I hear this game has some really good party banter and conversations, and especially if there's some romance with Isabela (etc), I'll give it a whirl. I do like that it has side-quests. Paying 10 bucks for one straightforward mission never feels worth it.

What the heck is a Schrute Buck, (sounds like something Dr. Suess would make up) and why is each one worth .013 pennies?

I know this isn't an important question, it just stuck with me when I saw it.

Luke's conversion is a little off there. A Schrute Buck is worth 1/100th of a penny.

I'm sceptical but willing to give it a chance if the reviews are good. I'm somebody who did enjoy playing DA2 but felt it was vastly inferior to DAO and the ME series for a number of reasons that have been discussed many times. I didn't purchase The Exiled Prince because of this (despite owning all ME1, ME2 and DAO DLC).

It does seem like you're taking some steps in the right direction, but DLC in general is always a bit of a rip-off in terms of bang for your buck, so it'd have to be really good...

If it helps I can tell you that there is some incredibly comical banter between Isabela and Aveline. At one point I was actually thinking 'wow, I'm surprised we're allowed to put something like that in the game'. Anything else might be too spoiler heavy.

Yes.

I wish the companions had more to say too (incidentally she always says that. She says it in Act 1 and Act 2).

I
mean, I really wish Bioware had made the Hanged Man (night version)
where all of the companions just chill out in Varric's suite and talk
about Hawke's decisions in the quests. Just one or two lines for each
quest (primary and secondary) would've been enough for me.

Companions have an insane amount of things to say, the problem you're having, however, is that they do not have a wide variety of active ambient dialog (you talk directly to them and they respond but not in a cutscene/conversation). The majority, by a large amount, of their ambient dialog is from party banter while they are with you. BUT, I'll put in a suggestion for future production that there is more relevant ambient dialog for when they are not in your party. Can't say anything will come of it but it never hurts to ask

Actually there was a lot of things said between Isabella and Aveline that I was surprised made it into the full game.

I'm glad that the DLC is 3+ hours! that definitely makes the price more reasonable. The only problem with the price is I am 50 cents short. I am sad :(

I hope gamestop gets those $3 cards back online, because I really don't want to spend a full $10 on a psn card. Either way, I want that DLC. It just looks too exciting.

Duncan  says this in the beginning of Origins...

"A great many thing have been assumed by the Wardens that have not held true"

Hmm, don't care. Guess I'll buy it. Maybe. Maybe no
Though Hawke the Chosen One... EWWWW!!! GW was chosen One, She must face the most powerful-or-how-did-you-call-it DarkSpawn. It's just... illogical to sent HAWKE to defeat it
It's Grey Warden's business. no refugee

There is nothing illogical in there, they asked the GW and he said "WHAT? That's a grunts job! That's beneath me. Ask that rookie Hawke, he really should get a second chance to fight darkspawn."

One thing I'd like to know is whether or not this DLC will include a big choice at the end. I was really saddened by the lack of one in Golems of Amgarrak, for example.
