Nice summation of the non-game lore there. Not entirely pleased to see so much speculation going on but it does bring people who haven't read the novels/comics (or have forgotten what happens in them) up to speed.

I wish Bioware would just answer if Anderson just steps down as Councilor after ME2 or not.

I heard he dies in the beginning of ME3.

When talking about Kahlee Sanders, it lost me when it said:
"She is a perfect example of how women are taken seriously in the Mass Effect universe, and as good an argument for Shepard being female as any."
People still don't understand that there is no canon Shepard and could be male or female depending on the player.

No, he only stays on Earth.

Hmm sounds like Mr Leng will be that pain in the ass boss before you reach TIM, and I totally did not know number 4.
PS in reguards to this topic, I love the Mass Effect books and hope we will have some more novels coming down the pipeline soon.

Didn't even know Leng was confirmed for Mass Effect 3. Hopefully there is mention of at least some of these characters in the next game, or Mr Priestly may just like to torture us.

Good read especially about the Illusive Man. I didn't buy the comics so it's nice to have this information.

A good summary. I hope we get to see Kahlee in ME3, and it would be great to have Shepard personally take down Kai Leng. Battle of the N7s!
As for number 4 (about the Alliance being to blame), isn't the Council also to blame for letting Saren discover Sovereign? They went over Qian's research about the artifact and went all "we have dismissed that claim" on it, calling Qian a madman. Then Saren gets to Sovereign unhindered.

I have to cover my mouth reading Kahlee as the [second] most important person in the galaxy. Uggggh.
My horror aside, great read for anyone not keeping up.

Read the article earlier, but thanks for posting all the same. I read Redemption, but nothing else. Just not enough time. Anyway, some interesting spoilers there.
