I´ve just met Isabela (wow! Posted Image) and are about to enter The Chantry.

When I enter there´s a cutscene, and that´s when I can´t get no further.

The game crashes every time (I´ve tried many many times to reload).

This happens frequently with cutscenes but normally I just press Esc - problem solved.

But not this time around Posted Image

I bought the came not long ago and just patched it up to version 1.3

Has anyone else experienced this and/or know what to do?

I have the coin to enter the Deep Roads, but want to do this quest. Along with The spider´s silk gland, that´s the only two missions I haven´t done yet. And where the heck is that damn silk gland anyway?

To the first, no, never had that happen. Most of my dialogue bugs/crashes have been with Aveline in act 2.

The Spiders Silk glands can be found by fighting the spiders on Sundermount and in the Ruins. If you've already finished all those before you got the apothecary quest, you're sunk. (unless you're on PC and have the console enabled and the two mods for item delivery installed-- then you can just hit console, type in the right item and recieve it to complete the quest)

The crashing part maybe best to post in the tech forums. I'm guessing for PC since you said hit escape. You could try doing an uninstall/reinstall to see if it fixes the problem. For safety sake you could check to see if your graphics driver is up to date.

The spiders silk is looted from spiders in the square side room before you confront the magister's son in the side quest for Act 1. If you already did that quest but did not kill the spiders, then you may want to find a previous save before that quest to complete it. Since it's a side quest it's not all that crucial.

Those who endure are rewarded, I guess.

Suddenly hitting Esc worked.

Thanks anyway both of you.
