I would say Morrigan is on a tier of her own. Miranda, Loghain, Mordin, and Liara are very memorable characters. Garrus through Sten are all great and enjoyable characters. I was surprised I liked Merrill so much since I favor the (Morrigan and Miranda romances) -- maybe it is the letter m? Bastilla is a good character my favorite in KOTOR by far.

I am in the process of trying to get my hands on KOTOR and just started DA:O, so can't comment there...As for ME:

Squaddies:

Garrus, Kasumi and Legion...I love them equally....And my manShep of course.

Thane and Zaeed are pretty cool.

Non Squaddies:

Love Gianna, Lorik Qui'in and Saren...Very much like Hackett, Joker, Li, Nihlis, Anderson, Aria, Ken/Gabby.

[*]I don't mind her as a character that much. I mean, she has SOME interesting stuff to say, it's mostly just frustration at TIM. You don't need a theif on a military operation IMO. She ALMOST made the cut if it makes you feel better.

Not going to list, but if we're referring to squaddies/companions, then in no particular order:

Alistair, Thane, Varric, pre-DA2 Justice, Legion, Mordin, Aveline, Wrex, Isabela. Garrus. Those are the ones that made the games indispensable for me.
