I liked Fett until the EU pretty much raped the poor guy. I can't stand even the mention of Mandalorians now after what Karen Traviss turned them into. I don't know how they let her away with that for so long. Jaina has to fight a Sith lord so she goes to learn from the Mandalorians the masters of everything including killing Sith. She is all surprised and helpless when they show her they can fight without her sensing them in the force. Despite her years spent fighting the Vong who's entire gimmick was that you can't sense them in the force. Somehow all the strategies she devised and everything that made her a war hero was forgotten so she could dry hump Mandalore like everyone else in Traviss' books. Why she even went to the Mandalorians at all doesn't make any sense either. When have they taken out a Sith Lord in the last few hundred years? Have they ever done it? Should she not go to the greatest living Jedi, her uncle Luke Skywalker? A man who has experience of taking out Sith and Dark Jedi, the most powerful Jedi thats ever lived could probably teach her more than a farmer and part time mercenary. Not to mention the fact that Luke beat the holy hell out of the very Sith Lord she is training to fight and only refused to kill him because he didn't want to do it in cold blood infront of his son. Grrrr sorry I go into rant mode when people talk about Traviss.

As far as characters go I like Luke when he is done right. I'd have to give honourable mentions to Han Solo, Chewbacca, R2-D2 and Mace Windu was excellent in Shatterpoint which is still the best Star Wars book I've read.

Blastback approves +!00.

I like the way the Mandalorians were in KotOR, but Traviss just over idealised them.  And she screwed up Delta Squad in the Republic Commando books.

So, my faves, Vader, Luke, Chewie, Han, Revan, HK-47, Wedge, Wes Janson (Yub Yub), Hobbie, Anakin Solo, and Lt. Kettch.

Jolee - he consistently said exactly what I was thinking.  Why couldn't the two of us tell the Sith and the Council that they are both wrong, tell 'em where they can shove their respective philosophies, and change the universe for reasons other than the blue/red divide?

Han Solo - because I like scruffy nerfherders. This is probably followed by...Darth Vader, HK-47 and Jolee Bindo.

Restored content included, I'd probably say Kreia.
Exclude the restored content, I'd probably say... HK-47 or Canderous. Possibly Revan too (pre-PC story), though that's unfair.

Never was really tied to the films. /shrug

I have to say Chewbacca, because he had to put up with racism.

here's my faves

Jolee- the most awesome and bad A senile old coot in the universe!

Darth Vader- becuase, well, he's Darth Vader, and James Earl Jones (right name, right?) has a pretty cool voice

Yoda- I found him to be loltastic in the original movies.

Lando- for being the only (living)black guy in the galaxy

Jango Fett- for punching Obi Wan in the face

Obi Wan (alec Guiness version)- Alec Guiness. nuff said. talk about a great actor.

PFT LIES You had Mace, but he's dead, and in RoTJ to prove how big of a nerd I am when it comes to SW, in the hanger toward the whole planning to go to the forest moon crap, is one black dude on some crates, and in ESB when Lando lets out the evacuation code is another black dude walking down the halls with an icecream maker.

Yet I've only seen one Asian on the film, and he died in an A-Wing. Short of that the only other one I've seen is Jan Ors.

No love for Porkins the fat X-Wing pilot?

They had to upgrade the engines just for him. They replaced the R2 unit with storage for ham covered in gravy too.

If we can pick games, I pick HK47.
If we can't, I'll have to think about it.

Reminds me of Nik Stant http://images.wikia....el_captives.jpg Think thats what his name was. Got captured trying to dress up like a scout trooper, have no idea what he was thinking, or why someone that old is there.

Prequel series ("Meet Anakin") --> Yoda. He's a badass.
Episode 4-6 ("Meet Luke") --> Han Solo.
End series --> The Ewoks.
