I took my time`(and wiped a few times on last boss) and it took my 3 hours on hard, I don`t see how you could possibly take 7 hours unless if you died on every battle.

Edit: 
Just one thing I appreciated a lot in this DLC is that they gave archers their own finishing move instead of having them pulling a dagger and doing a finishing move.

Uh, Shadow Broker was the ONLY good Mass Effect DLC.

Overlord was good and Kasumi and Zeed were alright.

I would like to take a moment to say how much I enjoyed a lot of the changes to DA in DA2, since I feel like there are a lot of people who don't like it, but as this is supposed to be talking about the DLC I will stick with that. I personally really enjoyed this DLC. I think it was worth the $10.

I liked that my companions talked to me (and Hawke actually talked back! Yay!) while we were walking around. The weapon that I got looked awesome (I'm an archer), though it sadly wasn't as strong as the weapon I had already for the end of the game. It was nice to learn a bit more about Hawke's father, and the choice near the end gives it some replay value. I also liked the little viewpoint shots they threw in, that was a nice touch.

Well, having played it I can safely say it's a step in the right direction. Just to be clear, I'm not talking about the tougher enemies bit that require you to deal with them in a smart manner, which I'm sure a lot of people loved. For me what does it is an intriguing story that leaves me wanting more. There were also several cutscenes that "allowed" Hawke to interact with party members. Oh, yes, and the maps looked pretty distinct, some reminded me of Golems DLC and DAO's Deep Roads.

Perhaps now a dev can answer the question they dodged before Legacy's release, is Legacy part of a larger storyline that spans multiple DLC? All evidence seems to suggest this, but I'd rather be on the safe side.

10 dollars is a lot to ask for DLC and i payed it for shadow broker and love it for mass effect 2 but after how disappointing as a whole dragon age II was i'm very worried about this being no good plus with the supplier achievement for xbox 360 being broken with not patch yet still i'm not up for spending money on it plus star wars the old republic is due out soon so putting money back for that hehe

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Definitely will play it again with separate characters and companions. Look forward to more, though post campaign stuff would be cool as well.

Well there are so many mixed reactions here about legacy.... i would say i am waiting for da3 and if the story of da3 is not as impressive and involving as DA-O, that would be it for me.... As far as legacy is concerned they are just giving hawke some base to make him look special... (like in da-o the warden had some good history and all that)... i might add they are quite successfull but i would only feel better if they created more dlc's for da2 which would continue Hawke's story after the death of meredith... (guess i will have to wait for DA3 to see that happen *sigh*)

 Good work, Bioware. I am one of those who got very disappointed with DA2, and was convinced that Legacy would be terrible as well. But I have recently completed it, and I'm very happy In fact, you've heard some of the bigger complaints. Didn't expect that!

I really liked the way you managed combat -tougher, diverse and well planned. Also, little details as the sub-quests and soft puzzles add that variety and rpg feeling that DA2's main quest lacks of. 

I really hope that you keep this kind of work for DA3. If DA2 would have managed wave system and environments as well as legacy, it would have been the great success you were planning.

well that was a bit meh, it was better than dragon age 2, but is it better then anything from origins? NO

It still doesn't have the feeling of epicness  DAO had, it feels more like a cheap one night stand rather than a epic romance, it lacks subtance and the combat still sucks.

Legacy was how DAII should have been handled. I give it a 7.5/10.

I really did enjoy legacy. I finished it already with two characters (archer, mage), atm no. 3 has its turn (rogue). All of them post-campaign.
Next one will be during the cammaign with the warrior.
Please keep that direction for coming dlc's

It took me 5 hours to complete Legacy. Luke recommended starting on at least level 7, whereas I jumped in as soon as Dragon Age 2 allowed me, so this is probably why it took me so long. I had to spend a majority of the time during battles paused. Of course, I haven't played much in the ways of RPGs since March, so that didn't help.

What difficulty were you on? I ran through on Nightmare and it took me somewhere between 5-6 hours (actual in-game  clock time). Granted I did return to Kirkwall to restock at one point, but I don't think that took up too much time. I even missed the secret superboss.

I totally agree with DinoSteve ,  Bioware wasted a joker with the ancient tevinter mage. They dont see the potential of their own games or so it seems. The voice acting and animations dont convince and all the stuff out of origins, you are curious about is untouched. Da2 doesnt change that and there would be so much! Ofc the black city exists, you see it in the fate!

The first time I beat it it was 5+ hours, the second time was 2+ hours. The second time I skipped some dialogue, I think that's why people beat it in two hours. Otherwise, I felt treated to a rather good Dragon Age experience, a solid 8 out of 10 for me. Great dialogue, characters, and mysteries solved with mysteries introduced! Thank you Bioware, for hearing our complaints and acting on them. This outing shows that you certainly listened to the criticism (some a bit too vitriolic, but certainly deserving of notice). Keep the momentum up and I'll scoop up the rest AND look forward to DAIII more than I was already. Also, bring back the Warden in some small way please, s/he did end the last blight after all (or someone s/he cared about did). The letter and nods in DA2 were perfect (if you don't intend to ever bring her/him back, which would break this gamer's heart). After all we had a ton of Warden's involved in this, and something like this seems to be right up Avernus' alley. I would think the Commander of the Grey in Ferelden would have some involvment.

I thought it was a great DLC. I was kinda surprised by it,I was expecting to be a little disappointed,like I was with DA2,but I had a lot of fun playing it and exploring the Deep Roads. The environments had a depth to them that DA2 was lacking and I loved the codex entries too.The party banter was great as always. Took me around 3 hours to beat and I plan on going through it with all of my favorite Hawkes.

Awesome DLC, I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. The story was interesting as well as the choice you where given to make. I loved the bit of lore scattered all along the DLC and all the side quests. The new dialogue from the characters were great. The best way I could describe the DLC would be that it took the best bits from the Deep roads quest in Dragon Age: Origins and added what was good Dragon Age 2 eg the gameplay and characters interactions.

9/10 Great job Bioware keep it up.
