I had Varric, Anders and Warden Carver.
Best combo imo.
Humorous hawke and varric are hilarious.
"But, if your looking for eternal youth. I gotta tell you, she's no virgin."
And the emotion between Carver and Hawke is rather sweet, like he wants to say he loves her but he can't.
And the Anders fight shocked me, i was expecting Hawke to like hug him at least D:
Also, Larius' facial expression at the end made me suspicious. "You have freed me" made me think, oh god what have I done? D:

i loved the lore, i thought the length of the DLC was a bit disapointing
but hey its a dlc.
i hope DA3 will be a good combination of DA1 and DA2

In addition there were barely any details anywhere, and the fights are entirely based on dodging charge.
I guess i will have to go on like this some time, yet i wish to count me as a critic rather than a hater and the biggest fan of the witches of the wilds!
I would also suggest a gathering of reports for bioware to improve their work in the fans favour.
A big chat for issues or a conversation would do as well if a part of the responsible team could spare an hour some day. So high expectations

1. Party banter! yey....hilarious....also, touching family moments and even romance acknowledged<3
2. No enemies out of thin air!
3. Good length for a dlc: 3 hours on casual; 4 on normal
4. Essential lore wise, imo; ending appears to have potential impact on the world
5. Battles more tactical, especially the last one was very cool!
6. Puzzles!!!!<3
7. Nice new areas and places to explore
8. Good replayability, either for achievements or to see differences playing during acts 1-3
+ other cool spoilery things
Excellent job BioWare. Please implement 2, 5-7 better in future games.

1. No more paratroopers! Granted, the enemies still spawned in entryways, but it created a much more immersive environment then the combat waves of DA2.
2. Speaking of environments, it was refreshing to see non-recycled locations. Especially ones that were full of doom and foreboding.
3. Character/Party Banter was a major win! Several hilarious moments (finding out why Isabela doesn't wear pants, Corypheus=mwahahaha, and a new class I demand to see in DA3!) as well as a tear-jerking finale.
4. The last battle was fantastic. Yes, it got repetitive, but just witnessing the chaos sent a thrill through me.
The Bad:
1. Combat still seemed too ramped up in difficulty (although it was finally more tactical instead of 'killkillkillkill').
2. As of right now, choice seemingly had no effect on the world: side with the Commander or the mage and the same thing happens. Yet another of DA2's hollow choices.
3. The ending. Seriously? Do the writers have no follow-through? Just like DA2, Legacy stumbles down the home stretch.
The Ugly:
1. Hawke's Key. Regardless of class, this is the ugliest POS in the game. It's a shame its one of the more powerful because I'd really rather not use it (much like the Champion armour/robes)
2. Apparently Genlocks aren't corrupted dwarves: they are the result of a Dr. Zaius experiment gone wrong.
All-in-all, one of the better DLCs produced and definitely a hopeful sign for the future of the Dragon Age franchise.

Is it better than Lair of the Shadow Broker from Mass Effect 2?
No. LOTSB is in a whole different league of it's own. However, Legacy is a great DLC worth investing in. Genlocks are no longer laughable green midgets, AI is more tactile and no more waves, you pick up some snazzy Grey Warden armor and upgrade a unique weapon three times, and you're introduced an impressive villain. The story also has it's shades of gray and make morality choices a tad difficult. It's definitely a great addition.

More of the same. Nothing can save this game. Quit trying. Should not have been locked into the quest once started. Another area that cannot be revisted. Loose Gaider. Find someone that can write.
You did not play legacy did you?
and for those who say its too short, try not skipping cutscences and stop playing on casual

Really enjoyed the Merrill romance dialogue though, and Grey Warden Bethany rules.

So many interesting new areas to explore, the great conversations, the really tough battles, the high level items, it really has everything you could ask for in a DLC. Especially when you consider how short the DA DLCs tended to be, you especially have to like how much longer this one was. And it really had a nice, interesting storyline too, it was quite the mystery, and a surprise revelation at the end, great stuff!
Even if you're like me, you were somewhat disappointed with the main campaign of DA2, you will absolutely LOVE this DLC, its everything you wanted DA2 to be, and hopefully everything that DA3 WILL be. Two thumbs up, and a strong reccomendation to play this DLC, you'll be glad you did!

Next time I'll wait til the end to play it, to see how Bethany might react differently to certain things, and of course to get that romance dialogue I keep hearing about
It went a bit like this for me:
Anders: Merrill, please stop looking through my spellbooks at the clinic. They're private.
Merrill: Oh, I was looking for some 'dirty' spells...
Anders: 'Dirty'' spells...? What...? For you and Marian...?
Bethany: Please stop this conversation right now!
Merrill: <giggles>
It was worth the DLC price right there for me...

Enjoyed it, but it suffered from the usual problem: not one decision of any consequence.
That is pretty much Bioware games in a nutshell...

I didn't feel that in Origins or the original Mass Effect.

Nothing in Origins, but you're right there were some good decisions in Mass Effect.
