As of patch 1.03, I've encountered a major bug concerning levels of health and mana/stamina when reloading a save. This affects companions as well. Whenever I play the game for a while and level up, I usually put a few points into the aforementioned stats. If I then save the game and exit, then come back later and resume my game, these stats go back down. Sometimes only a little bit, sometimes quite dramatically.

I guess the best way to explain this is by posting a couple screenshots...

Making a new save, prior to exiting DA2:

After exiting DA2 and resuming/loading my save:

Notice how Varric loses a bunch of health, yet somehow gains quite a bit of stamina. My character also loses health and gains stamina. The same goes for Anders, except he gains mana instead. Oddly enough, Merrill is unaffected.

Has anyone else encountered this bug? Is there any way to fix it? It's rather annoying. I have the Steam version of the game, fully patched. I also have the All-class Item Pack, The Exiled Prince, and The Black Emporium DLCs.

They're not losing or gaining health or stamina. The bars are always displayed as relative to each other, not at a fixed length. Depending on the composition of your party the health/stamina/mana bars can look different relative to each other. If you look at the numerical values in the character screen, you'll see that you still have exactly the same amount of health/mana/stamina.

That's the problem though, the stats are changing, not just the bars on the HUD.

Bars are indeed irrelevant to stats.
Can you post how exactly stats are changing (numbers, you exact actions etc.)?
If it's actually the case - it's interesting that it never was mentioned before, seems like a major issue.
Thanks.
