I have been attempting to get my server online on Gamespy. I had no difficulty doing so on Windows XP but I am unable to do so with Windows 7. I can get the server to work correctly across a LAN. I have tried running my computer in safe mode with networking to eliminate the possibility of other software such as my anti-virus program interfering but to no avail. I have been using nwnserver to put the module online and have not been doing it through the game. Can anyone help with advice on how to get a nwn server running on Windows 7?

Is the default windows firewall blocking it? You can check that under Windows Firewall > Advanced Settings > Inbound/Outboud rules.

It doesn't seem to be. I turned off the firewall completely and it still didn't appear on Gamespy.

Are these two lines in the nwnplayer.ini set?

Game Port=5121
GameSpy Enabled=1

Yes they are set correctly.

Did you give your computer a static IP? Are you connected to a router? If so, did you forward port 5121 to the nwserver.exe process?

The IP is static and yes, we have a wireless router. I have no idea how to forward port 5121 to the nwnserver.exe process, can anyone help with this and adivise me on how to do it?
