I don't like Kai Leng. He's taking a bullet to the head, from Shepard. I don't think Kai Leng would ever join Shepard, seeing as he's a complete cerberus fanatic.

Finally finished Retribution. I'm still really hoping for a hand-to-hand combat confrontation between Shep and Kai Leng. I also wouldn't mind an epic game of cat and mouse throughout ME3 as well if he can't be recruited.
Seeing the picture they have of Kai Leng, is he implanted with reaper tech? I want to fight a non-indoctrinated Kai Leng, not Saren 2.0. I'm hoping that the concept art remains that and is not an indication of Leng's fate between the book and the game.

Technically, that would be Saren 3.0, Saren 2.0 was Tela Vasir.
I think it's just regular cybernetics though.

Or are you talking about rogue spectres? (I'm confused!)When I think of human cybernetics, I think of Miranda or Shepard. Kai Leng's picture reminds me of the decription of Greyson when they said the cybernetics were coming out of his skin. Seems extreme to me. I hope Cerberus didn't modify repaer tech and implant it in him. And would he even go for that? He was disgusted by Greyson's mutation. Would he risk that to himself?
