This post is pretty much meaningless. You just made up the 98% and you don't even specify what kind of mods you mean. The ones to make the game harder? The ones that make more blood? Story mods? I'm guessing you mean armor and weapon mods. Personally, I never use them, as they're always overpowered and I know there are a lot pf people who feel the same. The part you're missing is that we want the came to be challengeing. Using overpowered gear would defeat the purpose.

Mostly in casual and normal. I love the story and my chars in DA2, ME and ME2. Replay them often with different choices. Combat-light and story-heavy I guess =)

I played DA2 on Normal, dropping to Casual for the Arishok fight. I find that Hard is more of a challenge, especially after the first playthrough, but takes too long every time there's yet another random attack, so I generally leave it at Normal.

I always played DAO on Easy, because I'm in it for the story, not to have to sit and mess around with trying to avoid friendly fire.

I usually play on easy because it's fun to feel like a badass. It's like the end fight in Origins where you one-hit everything except it's like that the whole game. I play for fun not for challenge.

Normally I start the game at normal, and when I realize the game is getting easy for me, I turn up the difficult. In DAO I played almost entirely at Nightmare. But in DA2 I stopped at Hard because the insane friendly damage bothers me.

I personally relish a challenge of a first play through and typically bump up the difficulty setting one up from the norm from the second the new game enters my console, I like the challenge it brings ^_^

Origins Began on Nightmare a bit too difficult for my skill level so started whole game again on Hard and never changed it.
DA2 Began on Hard thought game was rubbish so dropped to Casual to complete it as quick as possible.

I used XP mods one time in DA2... but that has trade-offs, because while you get more abilities, your armour becomes useless for the PC because of scaling so you go back into glass cannon. The difference is about 4 levels at endgame, so we're not talking about a huge leap.

After my first nightmare run, I've been using ability mods (unlock abilities for all companions). If there's anything that sucked about DA2 for me, it's the restricted costumization.

What I like about DA2 is that it's much harder and practically more tactical than DA:O.
