Since EA/Bioware sent out emails not too long ago regarding (possible) compromised accounts requiring/requesting those to change their passwords, I found I could no longer logon to Origins. I could to ME2 and to DA2 with no issue with the updated password to my account. I posted here not too long ago regarding this issue, with no response (typical). The new password would take, as not to reject it for using incorrect data perse, just that it would not connect to the servers.
So, I looked high and low and couldn't find anything in the FAQs or anywhere on the site.help forum regarding this issue. So, I tried this and I find it rather disturbing; I changed my password back to my old password, and I could then logon to my Origins account, as well as to ME2 and DA2. I think this is not very secure since I changed that password based on EA's/Bioware's insistance for security purposes, and rightfully so. But I don't understand why the new password would work on games that can logon to the EA server with the new password, but Origins would not.
I most definitely think it has to do with the local file on my PC that does the check and I cannot find which one it is. IF one of the official (or even non-official) site help members could direct me to what needs to be changed, deleted, etc within my profile so I can go back to the newer password, that would be great.

How about sending Jeff Rousell a PM? He's on the list directly below this thread.
