You do realise that your talking about a father and his only daughter right?

Not even related by blood. A person he hardly saw on a regular basis. He had a job to do and he lost sight of it at the last minute.

Dr.Gavin Archer was able to put the cause before family, why couldn't Grayson?

I dont think the books ever said he hates them, just have very low respect. Still he better not die in the new book/comic they said they were killing someone off. My shepards not gonna be robed off a slowmotion melee attack on mass effect's Anders Brevick... what, too soon?

They smell, he doesn't need any more of a reason than that.

Did he attend the Kaiser Shepard school of hate and bigotry?

I don't do hate, nor bigotry.

Because Archer acted out of fear, whereas Grayson's motivation was love.

Your detractors on here would beg to differ. :P

Oh and Gavin DID act out of love for his own people. He's a good man, far more than that scumbag Grayson.

A celebratory dance is in order. Wouldn't it be priceless to see Shepard dancing in ME3 again? And better yet, maybe we can dance with TIM.

If that be the case, then Shepard acts out of fear, too. The fear that the Reapers would win and the galaxy would be destroyed.

I'm sure that a ladies man like TIM knows how to work the dance floor. He'll sweep femshep off her feet with ease. <3

Depends on how exactly you roleplay your character, but I agree that is the motivation he's sort of pushed towards. After ME1, I suspect TIM's is fear as well. Not of death, mind you, but of becoming a mindless slave like his turian "counterpart".

I'm not so bad... once you get to know me.

Clockwork Oranging David was an act of fear. As he himself says: "The Illusive Man doesn't broker failure."

TIM can dance if he wants to, he can leave those fools behind, because their friends don't dance and if they don't dance then they're no friends of mine...

Sorry.

Why, of course there is.
Namely, all of us.

Who the hell is Kai Leng? He must be from the books, right?

Yeah, Cerberus operative and former N7 marine that TIM got out of prison for killing a Krogan with a knife.

Oh. He killed a Krogan all by himself? What else is there to know about him?

He can kill armoured and armed turians while dancing naked in the moonlight with a knife in his hand.

He's the Most Interesting Cerberus Operative in the World.

He doesn't always drink, but when he does....

... ahh shoot, he always drinks.

I see. I take it that Kai Leng is a bastard, then. The kind of person you'd buy an expensive bullet to save for the coup de gras.

*SPOILER*

Most people hate him for killing Aria's daughter.

Which I find pretty comical.  Personally I don't care if Kai killed some low life gang banger.  If Aria had any sense she would have not allowed her daughter to become involved in her lifestyle.  I don't hate Aria, however I also don't hold much respect for her either, and wouldn't shed a tear if she lost her "coveted" position.  It's not like she's doing anything to improve the condition on Omega.

I'm hoping against hope however that Kai can be ME's Zevran, in that we can recruit him.  I don't like his bigotry, but I think he could take up Thane's slot on the team nicely since Thane is dying and all, I can only imagine the banter possibilies.  But I'm sure they'll come up with a cure in the nick of time for him, and not have him be a tragic character, especially for the romance.

And then they dance with TIM. Kelly knows a thing or two about dancing. With or ... on. Femshep also must have picked a few hot dance moves in all the bars she's visited.

And Grayson acts out of fear of something bad happening to his daughter. And TIM acts out of fear of humanity being wiped out. And Hackett acts out of fear of humanity being dragged into a war with the batarians. And the leaders of nations act out of fear of organic civilizations being destroyed by the Reapers.

Love and fear of loss cannot be separated. The measure of hero and leader is not love or fear. It is whether or not you care about someone other than yourself. And whether or not that domain includes more than a few people - LI and family.

TIM is fighting for humanity, and he'll sacrifice individuals for saving it. Grayson is fighting for his daughter, and he will sacrifice humanity for it. Aria is fighting for her cesspit of corruption, and she'd let the galaxy burn. Who is more selfless and noble?

By the time of Retribution, TIM is the only one doing anything about the Reapers. The fate of humanity and the galaxy hinges on whether or not he finds a countermeasure in time. I'm NOT rooting for Grayson.

I think he should be taken down after Shepard stops the Reapers, story-wise. Like, he's the last loose end that needs taking care of. Gameplay-wise, we should have to murder our way through the station he sat in for the entirety of ME2, hopefully breaking Kie(Kia?(dont know how to spell his first name)) Leng's legs and arms along the way, and when we take on The Illusive Man himself, he should have some sort of biotic/reaper-tech based super attack. Like, biotic-reaper lighting, or something. That he hopefully shoots from his eyes.
