Regarding TIM: I'm sure he has an upgrade which lets him control the degree of intoxication. Wouldn't that qualify as an advancement of humanity?

Doesn't Retribution say smoking no longer has negative effects on the human body in the 22nd century, regarding it as the reason TIM smokes a gazillion cigarettes a day? Maybe TIM would know how to do the same with wine. That could give Paragons a reason to be best friends with him, as opposed to the Reaper threat.

Yeah, it says they don't have to worry about lung cancer anymore and that TIM smokes in part due to it reminding him of the upper class life he used to life on Earth.

Most people hate him for killing Aria's daughter.

Which I find pretty comical.  Personally I don't care if Kai killed some low life gang banger.  If Aria had any sense she would have not allowed her daughter to become involved in her lifestyle.  I don't hate Aria, however I also don't hold much respect for her either, and wouldn't shed a tear if she lost her "coveted" position.  It's not like she's doing anything to improve the condition on Omega.  

I'm hoping against hope however that Kai can be ME's Zevran, in that we can recruit him.  I don't like his bigotry, but I think he could take up Thane's slot on the team nicely since Thane is dying and all, I can only imagine the banter possibilies.  But I'm sure they'll come up with a cure in the nick of time for him, and not have him be a tragic character, especially for the romance.

It goes to show that aliens are held to a lesser standard than humans, much like how the Krogans get a pass despite being an ultra-violent race that love war, killing, mutiliation and who detest the council(yet supporting them is the Paragon option strangely enough).
