Curious, do you think those who've kept the Cerberus data for themselves in ME2 will have the option presented to them to give the data back once we figure out what it is?

Hopefully but it might end up becoming the same as the Paragon option since the Normandy gets impounded by the Alliance. Realistically, I wouldn't count on anything more than seeing what's on it.

Well, it depends. Considering EDI is doing the decrypting and she's staying on-board, it's entirely possible she kept it.

I wonder if EDI still loyal to TIM? "She" was still reporting to him after being unshackled and was the reason why there even was a Collector base decision.

She has to still be loyal to him on some level if she's sharing data with him.

- No PvP mode is planned. Reason: "For a believable story it would make no sense." - Casey Hudson

We finally have it from the man himself: siding with and playing as Cerberus would make no sense.

Is this surprising? How does the defenders of the galaxy fighting each other add to anyone's survivability?

In any case, this shuts off any possibility of the multiplayer turning into some kind of FPS-esque tumor, so I approve.

I think the ability to frag each-other is exactly what this community needs.

My internet connection's utter crap, so it's sort of a moot point on my end. >.>
ANYWAY
I figure if they are going to do PVP, it should be an entire game of its own, and not some tiny little thing tacked on as a bonus.

Indeed, we could settle our personal feuds and settle the whole Renegade vs Paragon debate once and for all in the field of battle.

TIM says EDI sent him the schematics for the base right before Shepard makes the decision.

But only up until that point. If Shepard chose to destroy the Collector base then it's assumed that EDI is no longer transmitting any information to Cerberus anymore.

Music!

"Jack Harper has everything - a successful career, an awesome space station, his best asset Commander Shepard, his top operative Miranda and an apocalypse approaching - until Miranda and Shepard begin an affair."

LOTSB and Arrival are designed as post-Suicide Mission content and both missions have a summary at the end by TIM. So he's recieving data and the party most likely responsible for that is EDI.

Arrival's mission summary doesn't read like it's TIM's notes. It's completely straight forward about such and such happening.

Many of TIM's mission summaries are like that. You know, all the cheap ones... and Arrival was cheap.

Probably an oversight. Regardless, the SR2 is now in the hands of the Alliance.

Does it need to? A new Genesis is at hand, might as well fight to be its creator.

I agree with Saphra and Sebo on this one, especially since we're already playing a glorified Gears clone to begin with.

PVP would be worth it just so I can teabag Xilizhra with a Vorcha or Cerberus character.

Ah, now I begin to see how she can hate you more than she does me. ;p

And no, I don't really understand either, but then again I understand very little about Xil.
