Oh lord, here we go...

Crack fics? That's a really good idea but I may have to take it several steps further and write a cheesy sex novel. Look for The Internet Love Machine by Rollo Tomasi (pseudonym). Sinspired by a true story. Naw. Maybe it should be a screen play instead. The Internet Love Machine.: Tagline: A love that transcends time and basments.

Kudos for the L.A. Confidential reference.

Say yes.

I'm starting to feel strangely uncomfortable in here.

It really sucks that femshep isn't able to see TIM smile. :(

She does if you choose the Renegade ending, when he's mentioning how huge an achievement acquiring the base is, and if you're gung-ho about going after the Reapers, during your first meeting.

Oh yeah, now I remember the Renegade ending part but then femshep has to ruin the mood by acting like a total b*tch on a power trip.

Hmm, I've asked Sebo already, but I want some more opinions before I go off to play a game: Human Revolution or New Vegas? I'd also like to know how morally grey they each are.

Also, and I might be too early with this because of the timezone difference and all, but:

Happy birthday, Ash!

Sadly enough, I don't have anything to give as a present, although I suppose that "overtime" offer from last night still sort of stands. So, um... yeah... <_<

In any case, I hope you'll have a great birthday, and that you'll think of your fellow Cerbies at least once while having fun. ^_^

Off-topic:
Personally, I'd play New Vegas. Human Revolution is fun and all, though you're fairly limited in terms of the actual choices you can do (where it's more limited toward gameplay or killing somebody / knocking them out) until the later parts of the game while New Vegas has players joining factions and making enemies.

A player can manipulate almost every faction and make your character into a sort-of magnificent bastard, kind of similar to Alpha Protocol but far more limited in it's execution. Still, a wonderful experience to have.

And happy birthday, Ash.

To keep it somewhat ontopic:

TIM approves of being a magnificent bastard.

I wanna see TIM suit up and go into battle. It's a far cry from chain smoking, knocking back whiskey or scotch and spying on your employees.

At this point in time, I'd assume we'd have character degeneration and walk into TIM's space station and see him take a needle of Reaper nanites and inject it into himself to kill Shepard.

And right before TIM is about to kill Shepard, Shepard's two new squadmates, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine manage to kill TIM before he can kill Shepard.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, but I really don't want to see TIM turn into some crazy mutant in the final hour. That was a tired, predictable trope when Saren did it, and it still is.

Damn, if that happened to TIM, it would be such a downer, DA2-style. Not that it wasn't heavily foreshadowed or anything. Still, I had hoped to never see another transformation again. If possible, I'm saving TIM anyway, transformation or not.

If I could save only one life from the Reapers, that would be TIM. And I'm quite willing to pay the price for it. After all, hero is someone who pays the price for victory.

Here's to Jack Harper, who was successfully fighting for humanity on the battlefield with his two friends during the First Contact War when the Alliance retreated.

History repeats itself in ME2, it would seem. The Alliance steps aside once again, and Cerberus are the only ones who fight for humanity on the frontlines.

Note that only the Lazarus Cell has ever really been on the "front lines" against the Collectors. And, of course, in my case they're no longer Cerberus...

I'm hoping that it's revealed that he's a Lumen Sage and that we have to fight Father Harper while falling from the side of Cord-Hislop's building.

We're at war. No one wants to admit it but this thread is under attack. One very specific man might be all that stands between 5 stars and the greatest threat of our brief existence.

Did you just say S.T.A.R.S.?

Alright, I'll try to keep the Resi references to a minimum now.

That's why TIM brought me back after I was killed by a Paragon surprise attack.
