There's that, of course. The journey is more important than the destination. That's why I'm not looking forward to slaughering Cerberus throughout ME3, even if it brings me victory over the Reapers in the end.

Well, I know you want to have more of them. But I only keep the cure because it's data, and I tend not to destroy it unless it'd have immediate negative consequences if I kept it.Seboist wrote...
Another thing, what's the logic behind Paragons wanting to support the Krogan? They're willing to undermine their precious council's policy and for what? An ultra-violent race of man-turtles that love war, mutiliation, killing and detest everything s/he stands for? LOTSB shows video of Paragon Shepard's Urdnot buddies burning prisoners alive and feeding them to varren.... and that's what s/he wants the galaxy to have more of with a genophage cure?
It makes no sense to me.

But it must be done in order to ensure victory. Also, Cerberus is now the enemy in ME3 and will attack you on sight. Will you not defend yourself?

There's four options in the mission itself:
Keep the Cure > You tell Mordin to keep it just incase.
Destroy the Cure > You tell Mordin to destroy it just incase.
Support the Genophage > Cure is destroyed and you tell Mordin the Genophage was right.
Tell Mordin he was wrong > Cure is spared and you tell Mordin he should make amends.
Judging by how the writing works, there's likely not going to be any difference between the two "destroy" and the two "keep" options. Anyways, Mordin keeps it and I doubt Cerberus recieves any of it.
I actually wish they did this more often, utilize the other half of the wheel and give us more options to work with rather than pigeonhole them into an (inconsistent) paragon/renegade morality. Because there are many times where there is easily more than just 2 or 3 approaches one could take to certain dialogue/decision-making in the game. I liked being able to hang on to it without being assumed to support curing the genophage.
For once they let me make the decision without making a false assumption as to why.
I'd actually have expanded it to make four moralities, two branching off of paragon, two off renegade.

These are two branches that I would have added.
Human Dominance Paragon: This would involve Shepard trying to prop up humanity through lawful and ethical means so that it could assert passive dominance over the other races due to being an entity they would look up to and try to emulate.
The Paragon-Council sacrificed ending of ME1 actually alludes to this with Udina saying the aliens look up to humanity for guidance. It's too bad nothing comes of it in ME2.
Pro-Alien Renegade: This would involve an anti-establishment(council) Shepard scheming to bring down the council with the help of the "outlaw" terminus races like the Krogan,Batarian,Quarian, etc.
This is what I've tried to mold my main Shepard into ^

I'm a bit miffed that racist-renegade dies with ME1. That my Trollshep went out of her way to keep Garrus out of the squad to being so worried about him getting injured and smiling at his recovery is just sloppy work.
I should have had a bonus racist remarks to make to every squadmate I recruited.
Samara - wear a shirt you blue ho-bag.
Mordin - you're going to make us a countermeasure to the seeker-swarms, since I know how much you salarians love to play with bugs.

You'd have the three heads of Cerberus:
Miranda would be the one in charge of projects.
TIM would be in charge of finances and politics.
Shepard would be the enforcer.

Well, inevitably, once the arguments die down, the Renegadeo gs of this website take time to go to chapel to worship TIM who is the son of Jubileus. According to Seboist, TIM will die for the sins of humanity or something like that. Once that's finished everyone on this rthread starts to get a bit snarky wherein Kaiser and Seboist start to cap on Xili for being a Paragon and then Kaiser reveals excerpts of his latest PM w/ Xili.

"Krogan Berserker appears"
Paragon Shepard: "OMG look at their feet! They are so adorable! We've got to save them, they're an endangered species!"
I mean seriously, take a look. Their feet are like panda feet. And every Krogan from neck down practically looks like a giant plush doll. If you freeze them with Cryo Ammo you can actually hug them to death.

We're all dealing with the people constantly talking about reforming Cerberus and it's got me thinking, what if we're forced to reform Cerberus but don't have to eliminate The Illusive Man to do so? He isn't likely to share power quite so easily, I doubt we're going to see him simply step back but imagine where you'd rise up and become his equal in terms of strength (possibly with Miranda).

I wouldn't want Miranda to be anywhere near a "reformed" Cerberus. If my Cerberus Shepard has her way Miri and Oriana will find themselves scatttered through-out several dumpsters in Juarez.

I'd probably do the same, depends how she handles the base being given to Cerberus in ME3. The very least, she doesn't flinch when it comes to most (not all) tough decisions and it's better to hand over the experiment department over to her as she has experience in the domain.
Better than handing it over to say.... Kelly.

What's that now? You acknowledge that TIM will die then?

What's your beef w/ Miranda? Her outfit wasn't provactive enough? And why are you gonna hurt her sister who absolutely has nothing to do w/ Cerberus in the first place?

Damn, TIM isn't even going to be much of a challenge unless they force him into a transformation, and that got old at the middle of DA2. It's been more than thirty years since TIM saw active militaty service. He is no match to Shepard, who is the meanest war machine in the galaxy. Shepard can bring down avatars! TIM is practically a civilian in comparison. He's been doing administrative work for decades. Even transformation isn't going to change that. Although I suppose there are people out there who enjoyed watching a trained N7 war machine and a Spectre punching a civilian reporter, so they'd enjoy gunning down TIM. There's an audience for that sort of thing.
I'd cover TIM from the bullets with my body. I will never shoot at him. Oh this is going to end in critical mission failure...

Not unless TIM dons some sort of crazy power armor powered by a man-portable eezo core and fusion reactor to generate a powerful kinetic barrier and to enhance his speed and strength.
At some point you're just gonna have to deal w/ it and put down TIM. It's for the greater good. Deep down you know that the galaxy will be a better place w/o TIM. You can then observe a moment of silence for him once you've taken him down.
