Really? Then maybe you can tell me where I can find the switch. Because I think my human avatar didn't come with one.

I suppose we just have different thought processes. Mine was "wait, why would the leader of this organization I'm definitely opposed to resurrect me? What does he want from me?"

Pretty sure after reading all the post ME2 stuff provided to us, I went from not really caring about TIM, yet admiring his story, to really despising him.

I'm a non-Turkish fan of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (I have his picture on my wall). But I suspect there are many out there. Atatürk was a leader with radically progressive ideas, much like TIM.

He wants you to stop questioning him and act like a man.

Sure does, you should check out her heavy hitters like "Durma", "Dunya" and "Perdeler" (there's a version that features apocalyptica). Then you'll be on your way to becoming a Seboist too!

Really? Your Shepard will just lay down and die after the Reapers are beaten? That explains a lot, actually...

Actually, I had something more dramatic in mind - my Shepard being killed in the final confrontation because he couldn't bring himself to shoot TIM. Or maybe shielding TIM from the bullets when he's supposed to fight him.

The only problem is that stakes are too high, and that's why Shepard isn't allowed any emotions or anything "selfish" like that. Mission always comes first and everything. I think too high stakes are not good for the story because they compromise the drama.

Hopefully like Ataturk before him TIM will be recognized as a (human) national hero.

On Perdeler now, but I'm sure one Seboist is more than enough for these boards.

So is Saphra, and Xil.

I believe Sebo is as well, despite what 'his' profile says.

I, on the other hand, am an artfully-crafted construct of polymers and alloys.

And bees.

Oh, I didn't mean to exclude you like that, dear. I was just listing the questionables, and Sebo.

Although I don't for a second doubt that you're indeed well crafted.

But laecraft... somehow I always imagined as a cool, masked, well-dressed, um, dude. Sitting on his comfy chair in a large, marbled room. Typing on his keyboard with an ice-cold katana resting on his lap and a cup of tea beside his hand.

That's one of the finest compliments I've received. It completely annihilates the "kooky". Now I'm never going to believe in my kookiness, whatever people say. I'm just going to think that I'm cool. Look what you've done, undoing all that Paragon hard work.

What's eerie, my room is indeed large and white, and I do have a cup of tea right next to me, and my chair is very comfy.

The Katana is metaphorical. It represents your quick wit that cleanly slices in two any retort coming your way.

And the mask comes from your forum avatar. So yeah, I've inadvertently revealed my psychic abilities. Now I must go see the elders and face my punishment. Bye folks!

No, no, see, I was being serious. I really am made almost entirely of bees.*

Anyway, backpedaling for a minute to the topic of ME3's ending, and the potential removal of not only the Reapers, but also the Illusive Man (if not Cerberus as a whole).
To be completely honest? I think mine would die.
Bear with me here, for a moment. This is a person who has been stabbed in the back not once, not twice, but three times by the people she put her trust and faith in (Alliance, Council, Cerberus). She's been forced to watch her friends die (Ashley; the crew that didn't make it out of the old Normandy) or turn on her for something she had absolutely no control over (Kaidan; Toombs).
She's worked her ass off to save the galaxy, and in return she's dragged up before a metaphorical (or literal, if the Batarians had their way) firing squad. And on top of that, she's now being railroaded into attacking people she grudgingly came to care about.
She has nothing left, except for seeing the mission to its conclusion.
To paraphrase a line from World War Z: "I don't know if war makes great men, but it can certainly break them."

I was going to bring something up about Cerberus and fighting the good fight and Reaper tech here, but it's eleven at night and I'm practically falling asleep on my keyboard. Whicxh explains the above rambling tangent, at least. Ugh. Don't mind me.

Incidentally, here's something for the Paragons on this thread:

A Perfect Circle- Passive

*-I'm not really made of bees.

Good thinking. I would say that you're a dedicated Renegade and you believe in Cerberus but much of that is predicated on your wistful feelings towards TIM.

Actually, according to the game score, I'm half Paragon, half Renegade. Most of my Renegade score comes from being totally infatuated with the whole Cerberus idea.

According to my roleplaying, I'm humanity-first, to the point where I'll destroy the galaxy if I can't save humanity, and I will stop at nothing to defend humanity, both the Earth and the colonies, and I will do what it takes to save us.

I believe that humanity should be united, and we embrace our own, no matter who they are and where they're located, and no matter what the Council laws or any mortal laws say on this. I believe that if no official organization will defend our colonies, we should defend ourselves - that's what Cerberus does. I also believe that humanity becoming stronger is a good thing - I support such "unnatural" alterations as human biotics and Reaper tech enhancements.

I have strong feeling for TIM because he's fighting for humanity and enabled me to do the same, bringing me from beyond the grave for this purpose no less. A great deal of my admiration for him stems for the fact that we have common goals, and he's the only one, aside from me, who's doing something about the Reapers.

Yeah, the whole karma meter is pretty shallow. Even my most "Renegade" Shepard is one third "Paragon".

This game doesn't think I make "Paragon" choices with "Renegade' intent!

Like Random Cerberus Mook #67 who will be gunning for you along w/ most of Cerberus in ME3? The only people that Shepard cared about from Cerberus was everyone from the LAzarus cell and then you don't know if TIM will be an antagonist in ME3.

That's a great song. I still remember the first time I heard it. It had a very powerful effect on me. Just remembering it makes me all nostalgic.
