Oh god, don't remind me of DAII's "romances". Jubileus almighty were they god awful.

The female ones were dreadful, on one hand we have a pirate sl*t who barely wears anything who talks about sex nonstop and on the other we have some insane blood mage nerd bait KAWAAAIII girl. The both of them should have been burnt at the stake by the Order of the Flaming Rose.

On the male side of things we have Anders who went from being a carefree guy who wanted to be free and chase women to some sexually confused brooding "WHAT ABOUT THE MAGES?!" assclown. Next up we have another worthless wh*reson by the name of "Fenris" who's also sexually confused and is an androgynous ladyboy taken from a JRPG or something. When the Order is done roasting marshmallows at Merrill and Isabella's expense they should lynch these two jack offs.

 That whole game was terrible.

Why are we discussing DA2 romances in TIM's thread, on the ME3 forum? Let's stay on topic people.

Is there a point? This thread is polluted.

The universe is polluted. But let's not stop recycling, no?

Others (like me) may be purged before Xili is.

You don't require purging, dear. Your opinion on things is quite welcome, in fact.

Awww, thanks guys! I really appreciate it.

I personally think Shepard (and everyone else) can be friendly and open-minded while still making a lot of important Renegade choices. That is how I play my Shep - never misses a chance to be nice, and yet still practical and down-to-earth in business.

TIM, the title character of this thread, is quite charming and suave himself. I don't see why his fans can't be the same.

It's hard to be charming and suave when we and the best character in the game are being attacked.

Well, TIM himself managed it pretty well. Have you seen him get angry often? Given the amount of BS in the Galaxy he has to deal with every day?

I can not be as awesome as TIM, but at least I can try to follow his example. But that's just my way of doing things, as one possibility among many. I fully expect everyone to be different.

In fact, TIM is angry only once, and I don't see it in most of my playthroughs.

How many of us can say our boss never got angry at us? Or only got angry once because we blew up billions of credits worth of his property, against his orders?

Wait, you actually care about that? I'm stunned.

His property? What?

Wouldn't femshep be considered his property too since she has Cerberus tech in her? <3

His property? What?

You (Shepard) are an agent acting on his behalf, fully funded and supplied by him, to defeat the Collectors. And since the Collectors are defeated, everything that the Collectors owned are now rightfully the property of The Illusive Man/Cerberus. The Paragon choice of blowing up the base is equivalent to a disgruntled employee sabotaging company property.

Only a small part. Shep is no more TIM's property, as Bill Clinton is the property of the surgeon who performed his cardiac bypass.

The difference is Clinton repayed his surgeon with money. Shepard repayed TIM by working for TIM to defeat the Collectors (arguable, as Shep wants to defeat the Collectors regardless). Whether you keep or destroy the base is a reflection of how much you think you should pay for that cardiac bypass/Lazarus Project.

No one's. Or, technically, the Collector General's, who isn't dead yet when the decision is made.

I care absolutely nothing for what TIM thinks belongs to him, fortunately.

Whether you keep or destroy the base is a reflection of how much you think you should pay for that cardiac bypass/Lazarus Project.

I'll pay for it by defeating the Reapers.

Part of war is capturing priiizes. Cerberus is at war with the Collectors, therefore any Collector property that falls into Cerberus hands becomes Cerberus property.

Irrelevant. I don't give a damn what TIM thinks he's entitled to.

There are other forms of payment femshep could repay with ya know.

It's not what TIM thinks. My post is not TIM's thought. It's logic. Employee-employer contract. I believe that remains largely the same as it was in the 21st century.

A justifiable argument, since TIM stated that to be his goal.

I am not against destroying the CB per se (I think there are ways to justify it), but I absolutely detest the way Paragon Shep carried it out. It's abysmal career practice. What they *should* do is first quit, hand over the SR2 and everything on it, and *then* blow up the base. In companies in the early 21st century, I am told, if you quit you must give the boss a three week advance notice. It's just the bare minimum amount of courtesy that someone who helped save your life deserves.
