Say what you will about DA2 (on second thought, don't), but Varric was Ace.

It was because we turned from one smooth, hairy-chested man to another.

I'm getting chills just typing that.

Which makes me wonder: How come the Miranda thread is by far the longest on this board? Miss Strahovski's excellent acting aside, she's still a rather simple character to me. I mean, I like Miranda's character very much, but I just don't think there's much to talk about.

And I don't see much discussion about her here either, despite she being TIM's top lieutenant.

Miranda's thread has far more .... devoted fans.

We've talked about her some on here like how my femshep plans on killing her and Oriana for betraying the cause.

Is there any clear indication of her betrayal? If you keep the Base, she just complains a little. She's still helping you help Cerberus.

I'm also fascinated by Oriana's potential. She can be even stronger than Miranda. She can even be another Shepard. Also she has a sense of humor, the lack of which is why I find Miranda completely unattractive.

What, women need to be funny now as well? You've set the bar rather high, my friend.

As long as she looks good and is able to prepare a decent meal, you won't hear me complaining.

Other than the sudden betrayal bit if Shep decides to destroy the base, no but we're dealing with an inconsistent train wreck of a character so who knows. The latter parts of ME2 really soured me away from this character.

RIP pre-FP Miranda.

I believe TIM thinks the same and that a woman is to be seen and not heard.

I mean no insult toward the Miranda thread but some of them... well, I doubt they like Miranda and only care about Yvonne. There's some posters there which actually truly care about Miranda as a character, people like Ieldra and such. Though from what I've seen, there's two groups of Miranda fans.

Well this flew wildly off topic. ~_^

It's good to see that TIM has no hard feelings about Shep wrecking his plans in ME1.

TIM is able to think things through calmly and logically like a man and look at the bigger picture.

Except in the Paragon ending.

Paragon Shep was totally a jerk in that ending. Which is odd, because Renegade Shep is usually the jerk.

Either way, Shepard was the aggressor in the Destroy the Base ending.

Well, yes, the Collectors did need to be aggressed against.

Except he's still thinking of the bigger picture, the one which Paragon Shepard just stupidly blew up because of their idealism.

No, he's a tad upset that you're throwing away useful technology for some strange reason.

The Reapers are clearly not a threat to be taken seriously if not concentrating on Sovereign and destroying the base are viable actions.

I can prepare a better meal than 95% of the women I know, so that is not required. I also have different, and rather modest standards concerning looks. But a sense of humor (whether good or bad) is a must.

In ME it leaves Ashley, Liara, Kasumi, and (arguably) Jack among the female squadmates. So it's not *that* high of a standard.

Which reminds me. Perhaps a major reason I don't want to romance TIM is, well, he's not funny. Not funny at all. I wish he can sometimes be a bit like the Turian Councilor or Udina. Those two never fail to amuse me.

I'm sure TIM has a great sense of humor that we haven't seen yet judging by the amount of women he's bedded because as they say, make a woman laugh and you're halfway into their pants.

Of course, the organization and woman she betrayed had helped "rescue" her sister and now those she holds dear are going to have to suffer due to her ill advised action. She clearly didn't think things through.

You fool! The purpose of having your woman prepare your mean is just that, having her prepare your meal.

Why else would you get in a relationship?
