Why is this a straw man? iOnlySignIn acknowledges the sense of humor as the main attraction. I didn't notice Liara ever display any wit or a sense of humor, she's always dead serious. But she's occasionally funny in ME1 as a comic relief device - her embarrassment and her hallucinations are meant to be amusing.

Both the turian Councilor and Udina are used as a comic relief device. So is Joker, who'll never be a "real" character. They belong in the same category.

I admit to being somewhat surprised, it's rare to see someone who wants to romance the turian Councilor and Udina both, but finds TIM unattractive.

Shepard's Cerberus Enhanced body would be too much for Joker's bones of glass to take. >_>

There's Mordin. <3

Everybody thinks Mordin is funny, even when he doesn't mean to be. For someone who wants to be entertained, I'd think Mordin is better than Liara.

Too bad Mordin is unromanceable. Why is it that the best characters in the game are unromanceable...

Oh, sorry. I missed the part about Liara. I think the iOnlySignIn was talking about humor as a quality that he himself finds attractive in women and you said that he should romance Joker then. I thought you were distorting his argument but I misinterpretted the context.:( I'm too lazy to find his post anyways.

Isn't one of Shepard's cybernetic enhancements the 'heavy bone weave' (that's what she said!).

No, seriously, is Joker not a candidate or something?

Can Joker withstand the procedure?

That's something I personally would like to know alot more about.

Is the implant procedure particularly invasive? Does it have to be done all at once? Is the nano-tech self-replicating?

It would appear you didn't pay any attention to LotSB. Though... I knew that already.

Because you want what you can't have.

Ah, but of course. "A little fall wasn't going to kill you." Yes, I laughed.

No, because I don't settle for less.

Also, Wrex is a great character too. TIM, Mordin, and Wrex are my inner circle, my most favoured characters. Too bad none of them are romanceable.

Probably this is why they aren't as popular on the forum as romanceable characters. Hopefully they'll get plenty of screen time in ME3 all the same.

You two are not making any sense anymore.

Ithink they just like to troll her for the lolz.

This goes beyond trolling. This is brainwashing.:o Someone said earlier that Xili is becoming more misanthropic or something. Oh noes!

That would be, but you'll note I'm not taking part in that other argument.

Nah, at most we want her to acknowledge the one true goddess, Jubileus.

That is indeed the case. I'm beginning to see why there are only like seven people who post on here regularly. Kaiser and Seboist scare everyone else away.

Hey, hey, I didn't say I want to romance both Udina and the Turian Councilor. I consider romancing anyone with an IQ below 90 as statutory rape. I don't rape people and I don't want to.

But Seth Green/Joker, why not. He's a hell of a guy, funny, talented, quite good looking. In ME2 he's like 6'0" tall (Jack is 6'0") and muscular too. Brittle bones should never be a problem when things like Talimancers exist in the universe. It just so happens that Joker likes EDI/Tricia Helfer and FemShep acts more like his mom.

Romancing TIM is like romancing Meredith in DA2. Sure they're awesome and hot people, but they're just so serious and busy all the time. I'd get bored really quickly.

Liara's nerd funny. Only another nerd would appreciate that. I bet she has tons of nerdy jokes, like jokes about Protheans. I wouldn't mind hearing them - archaeology always have very nice jokes.

Jack... is... 6'0''? She's one of the shortest people on the ship. Are you sure you weren't talking about someone else?

^ While it's not clear that the height unit used there is the imperial foot, there're good reasons to assume that it is, based on extrapolation from historical trends in human height.

Ah, yes, when I-can-never-see-more-than-one-set-of-videos-no-matter-how-many-times-I-return-to-the-ship Syndrome becomes a problem.

On the other hand, I don't think that chart makes any sense because I'm pretty sure the metric system has been standardized in ME, so imperial units wouldn't be used at all. And this would seem to imply that everyone in the future is significantly taller than they are now, because Jack is relatively rather short. We should probably ask about that, but given the units of measure screwup, I don't know if it's canon.

Nah, you focused too much on lovely Liara during the skycar chase.

True, assuming the team actually has attention to detail like that.

And this would seem to imply that everyone in the future is significantly taller than they are now, because Jack is relatively rather short.

Isn't that the case with each generation?

Mostly because of nutritional benefits. I find it somewhat doubtful that Jack had that advantage in Teltin.

Actually making sure she got enough nutrition would make sense considering their plans for her.

Given how she was what the entire project was about, I doubt they wouldn't give her what she needed, and then some.

Edit: Blast, ninja'd.

On top of that, extensive genetic and hormone therapies. They could make her 12 feet tall if they wished - so I guess they settled on a height that is optimal for a Human combatant - somewhere between 6' and 6'1".

Below, a stylistic representation of Jack along with other specimens at Teltin.

The Imperial system in Jack's mug shot may be a professional anachronism.

Law enforcement could still use feet and inches in much the same way a British person who works in the automotive industry would use miles for describing aspects of a car's performance, such as time 'from 0-60.'

Hey! It could be!

Hell, we've had Metric for how long? Many major countries are still using the Imperial system.

Imperial is better because the measurements are more useful in day to day life. It's why you still see people living under the metric system use imperial measurements for certain things.
