My gut feeling is that TIM will launch some kind of plan to weaken alien populations to ensure human dominance in the galaxy, somewhere in the midst of the war.

So then why can't I help him?

I dunno. I'd give you the option to, it's not up to me though.

Well why isn't it up to you? You should have taken charge. Why are you such a bum?

What does a doctorate have to do with sex appeal?

I'm not saying that I agree, but the two really don't correlate with each other.

My point was that equating her with a prepubescent in any way is moronic. She's clearly extremely smart and obviously sexually mature.

Liara: "107 may seem old to you, but to other asari I am little more than a child."

Nobody here is lierally equating her to a prepubescent, but to act like she doesn't have the demeanor of a schoolgirl is flat-out denial.

That some people are attracted by intelligence, knowledge, and wisdom?

Since you're posting in TIM's fan thread, the default assumption would be that you are one of these people.

I bet you will act like a schoolgirl/schoolboy if you're suddenly rescued from a disaster by a ship full of weird aliens (some of them itching to beat you up because of your skin color). No, I'd say you'd better act like a baby. Perhaps you should break down, cry, and frantically beg for mercy.

It's a defense mechanism/psychological strategy to convince a bunch of unpredictable strangers that you are trustworthy and harmless. A calculated move on Liara's part. I'm sorry that you did not understand that.

Not to mention the whole "I'm a Virgin!" schtick she has and obsessing over Shepard like a teeny bopper.

So, melding w/ a 107-year old Asari is like having sex w/ an underaged person in Asari law?

TIM wanted to use the krogan as shock troops against Reapers in ME2. He even saw the geth as possible allies. And now he only cares about "weakening alien populations"? That doesn't make much sense to me.

Can you give me an example of Liara "acting like a schoolgirl" (because I really can't think of one)?

So far as I can tell, no one who's shy about romance should ever enter into one.

If you can't think of even one, I should doubt any example I give will show you otherwise.

Kaidan is better suited to fulfill a woman's needs than Liara. He was there to provide emotional support and keep my femsheps' heads level while Liara was only interested in her creepy obsession and wanting to get laid.

I thought he was there to command the Normandy's Marine Detachment.  I was way off!  Boy, the Alliance thinks of everything!

Kaidan possesses nothing physical that I would need, whereas Liara does well enough in providing emotional support. Her locker scene is quite nice.

I'm sure an overgrown child like Liara who does nothing but fawn and submits to one's every whim would do wonders to boost one's ego.

Says a Talimancer who secretly feels threatened and diminished by Liara's power, determination and intellect.

Presume to show me what you think I need, and I'll be more than happy to chop it off.

Well, except fight back if I was overly accusatory about her looking me up, fight back against my own self-pity on the Citadel, bring me along to help fight the Shadow Broker, then actually become the Shadow Broker... and why should I take romantic advice from someone who plays simpering Femsheps who just want to become bed decorations for TIM?

Wow. I thought this was about TIM. Now it seems to be an LI argument.

Bioware still has yet to come up with a good romance option for my renegade, male, female or whatever else.  Even Miranda turned out to be yet another sentimental idealist, though there is still hope for her in ME3.  But meh LIs aren't really that important anyway, conversations with TIM and Grunt/Wrex/Garrus are more satisfying/entertaining than any romantic dialogue I've seen in ME.

First off my Talimancer Sheploo is not one of my main canon sheps, second of all it's plan of his plan to improve Cerberus-Quarian relations and to gain a long-term human ally by securing Rannoch with Cerberus assistance.
