They better make sure that TIM's reasons for his actions are crystal clear and make perfect sense. If, after finishing the game, I still have no idea how TIM was planning to achieve our goals by doing what he's doing...if I can see any slightest way for him to work towards his goals by NOT being the antagonist....
I'm very looking forward to seeing how they're going to force TIM into that...role. I want to see how they're going to force my Shepard and TIM into working against each other. It's a major storytelling challenge. The writers are VERY ambitious. It's a wonderful mystery, and no doubt it's deliciously complex and deep, more than appears on the surface.
I'm sure it's going to be a joy to watch them resolve that highly challenging situation in a graceful, believable way. And I'm prepared to applaud here. See me raising my hands to applaud? *lifts battle axe*
But I won't close my eyes on any inconsistency. Every single action must be making perfect sense. I won't forgive a slightest mistake. Anything less is offending the writers's abilities. I'm not one of those who'd jump happily at the chance to shoot Cerberus without giving a damn about how this could be happening or why. I give the writers more credit than that. I expect nothing but the absolute best.
