The TIM thread will never be the same again. The Cerbies are not at their best right now. The melancholy of BW's treatment of Cerberus and TIM has overwhelmed them for now.

Yeah, the leaked docs killed off the last bits of hope we had.

What was your plan for ME3? What were you hoping for?

My biggest fear was they'd turn into space ****s, it occured and there's no logical reasoning as to why.

Before the first news of Cerberus in ME3 came out I was hoping for some nominal support from them. After the bull**** came out.... I really don't know.

Now on top of Cerberus, we also have Udina being turned into a comic book villain and Charles Saracino who practically puts on a white robe and leads a klan rally on the citadel. Din Korlack too is turned into a convenient enemy.

Avoiding 'every unpleasant pro-Human person is indoctrinated or a Cerberus tool' might be nice.'

The moral of the story in ME is that anybody who isn't happy go lucky is evil.

Well that kind of sucks. They went for a more formulaic approach to the series.

Dave of Canada, did you attempt to type in the short and well known form of National Socialism and it censored it?

How are those last two surprising? Saracino was a one-note douchebag, not a major character with any possible development to worry about; ditto for Korlack, and the fact that he seems to hate everyone with an emphasis on humans might actually give you anti-human villains as well. Why would you care about Korlack, anyway?

It shows what uncreative hacks Bioware are that they're unable to create three dimensional characters and play it safe with characters most of the fanbase aren't fond of to begin with.

Now I have to make funeral arrangements for Udina,Saracino and Korlack.

Okay, wait. You're using **** and KKK comparisons to claim that these characters aren't realistic? Have you forgotten that both existed in real life and were considered socially acceptable at certain places/times?

Seboist speaks the truth as always. And in a more concise manner than I could ever manage. He's the heart and the spirit of TIM's thread, there is no need to worry about our thread dying as long as Seboist is still posting here. <3

You're not bad yourself Lae, your passion filled posts about TIM and the cause are always a pleasure to see. <3

Actually I think Cerberus and TIM are complex and interesting enough the way they are, and I basically don't see any change from their role in ME2 per the leaks other than them not being on our side (which we'd already known about anyway).

What makes them interesting is their esoteric way of being, they aren't loyal to anyone but themselves. And unfortunately, Shepard is not one of them. Never was nor can be as long as TIM is running the show.

I vowed to myself that I will take down the Illusive man if he gets in my way. And any more tinkering with Reaper tech and all bets are off.

We always have Obsidian and CD Projekt to fall back on for decent plots and antagonists.

Speaking for myself, it's not Bioware turning Cerberus into n*zis that has me concerned as much as it it the idea that Bioware will try to turn Cerberus into n*zis but will only succeed in turning them into a n*zi parody and then expect us to take the whole thing seriously.

How was Saracino a one-note douchebag? Who did he insult? mock? What incredibly unreasonable or bigoted position did he take, or ask Shepard to make?

Charles Saracino asked a military officer to use their position to endorse a candidate for political office.

A logical, moderate, and reasonable response to that would be to kill him and everyone associated with him.

??? What kind of political convention is this?

Also, I've never heard about this Saracino person until now. Apparently I was too busy mining minerals and killing monkeys in ME1. @__@

So....I guess that's another jab at the renegades who elected Udina, supported Saracino, and to people who never really had a personal problem with Din.

Saracino is easily missed in in ME1, he only shows up in the wards of the citadel right after you go there when the Normandy gets impounded.

Oh and the Paragon bias was already apparent back then with the side quest involving him being called "our own worst enemy".

The whole document pretty much reads like a parody of everything Renegades have been b!tching about for months. It's almost too absurd to believe.
