I've noticed that, but I don't think Bioware has really ever done a faction based game; I mean, maybe BG 2, to an extent, I remember something about joining the Cowled Wizards and the Thieves Guild, but it's been a while.
And I agree with you, to a point; you need to be a Spectre because only they have the access to get to all of those parts of Council Space without a hassle. It's why you were allowed on all of those Garden Worlds, after all. Why Noveria "tolerates" your presence. Why you get to keep your weapons wherever you go. I mean, the Council can take away your status as a whim if you become too much of a trouble.
DA:O was a faction based game.... somewhat. You could choose between werewolves vs dalish elves, harrowmont vs Bhelen or Templars vs Mages.

TIM would never sully himself by laying with some clanless quarian.

You doubt it? TIM's list of conquests has the names of more women than the Shanghai phone book. Unfortunately for Tali he's aiming higher, he's going for Xen and Shala'Raan.... at the same time baby. <3

What TIM wants, TIM gets. Many men have tried to mack as good as TIM but they've all failed. What makes you think you could pull it off?

True, unlike Shepard, TIM has no interest in immature brats with an obnoxious idea of morality. He needs to have some sway with the quarians, he could use a high-ranked companion with a practical mind and an ambition for power - an equal. Like Xen. TIM would aim at the stars instead of settling for underlings.
Humans quarians unite! Xen for TIM's quarian liaison. <3

Sounds like the plot of ME4: The Dating Sim.

No! This can't happen!
In all seriousness though I always figured if TIM did have a contact on the Migrant Fleet that it would have to be Xen. I can easily see TIM including her in the Overlord research, at least in a limited capacity.

I suppose. Actually, it may be better for TIM and Xen in Hell; it has lots of chains and whips. They seem like they'd be into that, although I'm not sure which one would be dominant and which would be submissive.Saphra Deden wrote...

Really? I don't get that vibe from TIM at all. I'm not sure there is any basis to attribute it to Xen either.
Regardless, I doubt either of them even believes in an afterlife. They're too practical for that.

Regardless, Space Morrigan and TIM deserve each other. They are star-crossed lovers.

It's the company that turns anything into heaven or hell. Xen and TIM are good company.

They do have a similar mindset. TIM is very interested in the quarians, and he will work with anyone to achieve his goals. Xen is practical and very ambitious, and her email to Shepard confirms as much. It would be a waste if they didn't unite their efforts at least temporarily. Both humanity and the quarians could benefit from that alliance.
Xen and TIM need to get together. Shepard could be their...middleman.

Xen mine and mine alone. If TIM tries to interfere in that then he will pay. His family will pay. His friends will pay. His associates will pay. The galaxy will bear the cost.

Yes. In both cases, he has that small moment of weakness. But from what I have been told, he really did not care much about Shepard to begin with.
