I am just waiting for my face time with TIM in ME3, when I can give him my 2 cents.....at muzzle velocity.
TIM is not evil per sey, however he does live in a morally grey area. All the atrocities he has perpetuated in the persuit of human dominance out weighs any good he may have done. The means does not justify the end. And as for those of you that want to romance him, I just have to wonder how mentaly stable you are. How many times has he set you or your crew/ former crew up? If you are a sole survivor he is responsible for that as well. To TIM, you are nothing but another tool to reach his ultimate goal.

I'm perfectly stable mentally, thanks.

Would I be attracted to a guy like him IRL? Yes, I think a lot of women would be. He's rich, charismatic, powerful, handsome etc. However, would I actually want to start something with a guy like him IRL? No, I don't think I'd feel comfortable with someone like him. But, we aren't talking about RL, we're talking about a game. It isn't real. We aren't even roleplaying ourselves in ME, we're roleplaying Shepard: a kickass, powerful man/women who can handle anything you throw at him/her. In my opinion, they would make an awesome couple. You obviously don't have to agree, but don't question my mental health over what I'd like to see in a video game.

He's also, manipulative, underhanded, secretive and controlling.  If those are qualities you admire in a person, along with those others you named off, then be my guest, but I will be of the opinion that  there is something wrong with you.

It's good to finally see TIM again. He looks very satisfied, I feel happy for him. At long last, everything went according to his plan. He's not allowed that very often.

The picture is so amusing for some reason. And destroying Omega? TIM's making the galaxy a better place. Of all the places he could've chose for a test run, this is probably the best. I understand this somehow ties in with his master plan concerning the Reapers.

And he's still not huskified. He looks just the same as before. Good.

I haven't much to look forward to, in the game, but this I'm still hoping for - see TIM and speak to him, preferably often. And not like with Saren - a short conversation just before the fight. I keep wondering if we'll even see TIM in the game until the very end. That's the only thing that could be worse than the current situation - TIM not being given enough screen time.

That's precisely why my femshep wants him. Those skills of his would benefit her greatly and nobody would dare cross TIM's woman.

Well, except TIM, who's apparently trying to kill her. That might be a slight impediment to sexytimes.

That won't be an issue if/when I render ME3 non-canon for butchering TIM and Cerberus.

RIP ME2 and Retribution TIM

Omega is a cesspit and a hive of scum and... criminal activities. TIM deserves a medal for eradicating that place.

So far as I can tell, there's been no butchering done to his character. Why do you compliment his ruthless drive when he pits it against other people but claim it's out of character when he turns on you?

"Derp, I spent all this time and money to bring femshep back ,now she fully agrees with my views, wants to further the Cerberus cause and spread her legs for me but now I gotta kill her cause continuing to work together makes far too much sense." - ME3 TIM

TIM turning on Shepard isn't inherently out of character, it is just a little odd considering the situation. He has no REASON to turn on Shepard right now.

I fully believe he'd sacrifice Shepard without hesitation if it furthered his broader goals. Shepard is a tool he devised to fix certain problems, but the tool can be discarded if necessary.

Don't flatter me, I'm blushing! :D This sounds almost exactly like what the turian councilor said to my Shepard. "This proves just how fragile your mental state really is." I feel a connection to my avatar! People say the same things to me in my world as they do to Shepard in his.

In that case, don't play the game so that your own Shepard doesn't go out of character. The problem would be on Shepard's end, not TIM's.

Grudgingly... no. He's too much a dullard and simpleton. He'll fight... even when he knows he cannot win!

If this has already been posted, my apologies.

I'm not sure I would say Cerberus is after you at all. Though Shepard and the IllusiveMan clearly don't see eye to eye in ME3.

Like what? Even freaking GTA has to try and turn you into a hero from time to time.

Give me back Tommy Vercetti.

Is TIM indoctrinated and trying to turn humanity into a Reaper? -> butchering of character.

Is TIM trying to enhance humanity, destroy the immediate threat, and save the Earth population? -> Why is he actively helping the Reapers and trying to kill the Earth's last hope?

Basically, it looks like TIM can't get his priorities straight. The population who is liquified to fuel the enemy's newborn cannot rule the galaxy. Survival comes before supremacy. One would think TIM would be smart enough to understand that.

My Shepard has the absolute faith in humanity. He believes that if we survive the immediate threat with our essence mostly intact, we'll rule the galaxy soon enough. And then we can experiment to our heart's content with the Reaper tech, use it for enhancements, fight the remaining Reapers, take note of the species who helped us to save the Earth and who stepped quietly aside, beat the Batarians into submission, overthrown the Citadel Council, populate new worlds, properly defending them with our fleet this time, expand our dominion, et cetera.

It's going to be a fun ride with the human ascension - the natural way, the way evolution intended it, the way it's always worked for organics from the beginning of time. The process is as much important as destination. Please no short-cuts to the end of time. We need to have our ascension AND have fun with it for a while, ruling the galaxy. Not just go directly to sleep.

My Shepard also believes that the war with the Reapers is a perfect time to forge new alliances. We need the guns big enough to get our vote have any weight with the Citadel Council.

My Shepard cannot comprehend where anyone pro-human would get an idea that the war with the Reapers is the perfect time to help the Reapers and kill anyone who tries to save the Earth.

The problem is, destroying the Earth has never been part of TIM's agenda. Just the opposite, in fact. He always fought the Reapers and strived for preservation and advancement of humanity. If he's now trying to help them and destroy the Earth, then his character has been violated.

If Earth is an obstacle to human dominance, then it'll be destroyed like everything else.

Earth is a symbol for the Humans. ITs destruction is a sign of weakness on the humanity's part.  I do like TIM.
