Seboist, I replayed the ending to find the dialogue, and here's what I got -

"Shepard, it's a new day, and we have you to thank for our deliverance. ..."
Renegade: We did the right thing. You don't need to try to make me feel good about it.
"Always willing to do whatever it takes. Well, it payed off. ... Don't let idealism blind you. Using the base to its fullest potential is the best way to fulfill ours."
Paragon: We need to dedicate every possible resource against the Reapers. ... You hold anything back, and we're out.
"It's not that easy, Shepard. We need each other."
Neutral: I'm going to stop the Reapers, but I won't sacrifice the soul of our species to do it. Remember that.

I couldn't type fast enough for the full dialogues, but that's most of it. I know, some of the lines aren't ideal, but the only other option at the end was telling TIM to shut up, so I chose the one labeled, "Yes. We do." At least Shepard ends the conversation still working with TIM.

I also like the Neutral (Shepard being indecisive) conversation with TIM when he's trying to convince Shepard to save the base. It goes something like, "Shepard, you died fighting for what you believed. We brought you back to keep fighting. Some might say we went to far... I didn't discard you because I knew your value. Don't be so quick to discard this facility. Think of the potential." TIM talks faster than I can type.

Ah i see. Thanks for that!

No problem. Posted Image And for the lines where FemShep sounds a little annoyed with TIM, I just imagine it's a combination of her exhaustion from the mission with her short temper.

My femshep was annoyed that she didn't see TIM in her quarters dressed in a silk robe and with two glasses full of Jim Beam after keeping the base. ;)

He does but he'd go for TIM's sister instead.

The thing that upsets me most about ME3 is that only AFTER I'm no longer allowed in Cerberus, they get an awesome variety of armors and uniforms. I want the armors we're seeing on these Cerberus units. >=O

The Phantom looks cool. Is she holding a sword?

@Seboist: My FemShep tried to invite TIM to the ship, but he wouldn't come. Maybe that's why she sounded kind of annoyed with him in their last conversation. xD

I always invite him to come along. He's all excited about "going where no human has gone before." Would have made the CB decision that much more interesting for 60% of the fans.

Maybe he didn't show up because your femshep didn't have any Marlboro or Jim Beam? Gotta make the man comfortable ya know?

I understand why he didn't want to risk coming along for the battle, being the head of an important organization who would leave everyone without a plan if he was killed, plus not being in top fighting shape (according to Retribution) like super-soldier Shepard is, but my Shepards who invited him were still disappointed that he wouldn't accept the offer.

@Seboist: But none of the in-game stores have those things for sale! Or, you know, TIM could bring his own/send one of his people out to get it from Earth. Poor FemShep has to save the galaxy and go shopping.

Oh, that's a bad sign for my first playthrough as a close-combat Sentinel... She'll have to send in some other squadmate as a human shield and attack from behind cover. Not exactly her style.

Eh, TIM shouldn't complain about funds; if ME 1 was any indication, if he just sent a Cerberus clean up crew after the Normandy, they'd make a killing on armor and weapons.

My femshep was very thrilled to see that he provided her with a luxury frigate complete with her own personal chef and doctor.  She was prepared to give herself to him right then and there. <3

Indeed. Having a different opinion on the circumstances of a fictional universe must mean you have a bad grasp on reality.

I said it before and I'll say it again. TIM was never meant to be a hero.

You and you're extreme lack of malleability in regards to ethics and morality. You see things in black and white regardless of logic or consequence. And your arguments are usually ****.

Morality and Ethics have to be strict if peace is ever to be achieved. There's always a solution for maximum utility and anything that wavers too much outside of that is doing everyone a disservice. Shooting someone in the face for lulz included. You can't deny that playing pure renegade is generally being a douche.

I'm sure Xil doesn't like your arguments much of the time either, but at least she has enough tact to not insult your arguments so crudely.

@ Xil - Logic? You believe you're so damn clever, don't you... Well, what about this:

Every action and every situation in the story happens in certain way not because your brilliant logic predicted it, but because writers decided for the story to go that particular way. They could make pigs fall from the skies and say that from the perspective of ME lore, that is perfectly logical. They could even describe the way pigs are created in orbit by natural processes, before they begin their free fall...

Bottom line of all this is that developers were supposed to create a compelling storyline, where all the available actions were justified by each of them having a possible benefit (be it a possibility of an ally, or knowing that that "ally" won't turn an enemy, etc...), and the eventual consequences being roughly equal in terms of gains/screw ups for both moralities. They were supposed to make us question our "morality" and what we really want or what we are willing to risk (which would also point out what we really want), all that at the moment we were making that choice.

What they were not supposed to do was to uphold one side as a paragon of purity and "goodness" while trolling the other one to Oblivion in the outcome of their choices.

What you may not realize with your brilliant logic is that a lot of people make mostly Renegade choices not "fot teh lulz!11!1", but percisely because those particular decisions offer them higher chance of ending up better regarding the consequences of said choices, than paragons would have. By the way, don't you see the irony of all this? People, who preach morals get better consequences and have a good feeling of being "pure" in their respective morals, while those who strive for better consequences are willing to (sometimes with heavy heart) sacrifice all the morality and good feelings of "purity", yet in the end they get nothing (and sometimes even worse).

Not quite true. It seems that many Renegade lack the morals that Renegade choices would be theoretically sacrificing, in many cases believing that killing certain people is fine and that humanity should rule over everyone. That second one is in fact the principle that Renegades have, that they're forced to sacrifice in the end. I think it's quite a clever turnabout and would necessitate an interesting amount of soul-searching from those who want to do things other than whine endlessly about being unable to bring about the Cerberus Empire.
