Casey Hudson, 15 June:
HaggardPunk: sorry for spamming but can we paint the Normandy?
Casey Hudson: If we did exterior customization of the Normandy it would prevent us from showing it in spectacular prerendered CG cutscenes.
However, there is also this:
Casey Hudson, 1 September:
BrianHonakerCoe: Will we be able to customize any of the Normandy itself?
Casey Hudson: Fun stuff planned for customizing your quarters.
Promising. I can forgive Bioware a lot if they allow me to keep TIM's picture next to my bed, and give me an option to gaze at it before every mission.

We can't change the paintjob. It's already been answered:

Do we get to gave at it afterwards and imagine his detatched assessment of the mission on thr gith side of the screen with an approving list of gathered resources?

I picture my Shepard gazing at the picture with tears pouring down her cheeks while she cries out "WHY TIM, WHY?! You promised we'd go stargazing in your space station together!!" and pounds on the desk with her fist.

True, the "kill the galaxy" league is fairly exclusive. You need to get over your Shepard's ego being hurt over realizing he's not in the same league as TIM.
On the other hand, I did sort of like the black-and-silver Normandy... but if the Alliance can get that damned logo off the side ("Look at me, I'm an agent of a top-secret and heavily unpopular organization!"), then it's all good.

And I just remembered I created a Twitter account myself back in 2009, or at least I think it was, so I might ask a question or two myself.
Edit: Nevermind that first part, think I'm on 3 edits myself now...

Now, I'm going to phrase a question about stargazing...
EDIT: Done!
Tomorrow, I'm going to ask them if it's possible to save TIM.

Sorry about that. I was nervous about my very first question! I think it tweeted properly, though. Or is it "twitted"? Doesn't matter. It was sent.

My Shepard would sacrifice herself and her entire crew to save TIM if need be.

Even if Shisk is on said crew?
Yep and to raise the stakes even a romanced Zaeed.
Edit: Now Mac Walters gave my femshep nothing to live for.

This is what my FemShep would quote when someone other than TIM asks her out on a date in ME3:
I have a rendezvous with Death
At some disputed barricade,
When Spring comes back with rustling shade
And apple-blossoms fill the air -
I have a rendezvous with Death
When Spring brings back blue days and fair.
It may be he shall take my hand
And lead me into his dark land
And close my eyes and quench my breath -
It may be I shall pass him still.
I have a rendezvous with Death
On some scarred slope of battered hill,
When Spring comes round again this year
And the first meadow-flowers appear.
God knows 'twere better to be deep
Pillowed in silk and scented down,
Where Love throbs out in blissful sleep,
Pulse nigh to pulse, and breath to breath,
Where hushed awakenings are dear...
But I've a rendezvous with Death
At midnight in some flaming town,
When Spring trips north again this year,
And I to my pledged word am true,
I shall not fail that rendezvous.
No time for dating, she would say coldly. I need to stay focused on the mission.

Would you have preferred not to know?
Of course not. Now I'm seriously considering not bothering to import my Cerberus loyalist Shepard, not just because of a lack of TIMmance(I never had any serious expectation they'd implement it) but also not being able to ally with them.
Besides, a TIMmance might be a perfect example of "be careful of what you wish for" seeing as how they've handled the past romances like the Tali one coming across as Shepard scoring a groupie for the night instead of getting into a relationship

It's true. There's some comfort in knowing for sure. Maybe TIM's romance better remain forever untainted. They write good stories, but they're not exactly into writing romances.
EDIT: I need to stop editing my posts. But all that "communicate with devs and get some answers at last" potential is getting me hyper and twitchy. I like knowing. Real intel, what could be better.

They've must've at least thought about the possibility of something between femshep and TIM at some point. It's hard to believe that with his whole womanizer persona they wouldn't have considered something for them. The story potential would have been off the charts.
Alas, besides romances and some gender specific throw-away dialogue Shepard's gender is only cosmetic.

That's all I'm gonna do woman
Listen now, I'm only gonna break your heart
And shatter and splatter it all into little bitty pieces...
Jack, you are not kidding.
Ah well. I'm a big girl. I won't like having to fight Cerberis in ME3; I might kick and scream about it a little bit, but I'll move on. At this point, since so many of my favorite characters either wind up dying or being evil or both, I'm kind of used to it.
Hey, if all else fails, I'll pull an all-nighter and write depressing ME-themed vignettes. And drown my sorrows in tea. Lots of tea.

Maybe they thought that the target audience wasn't worth the effort. But I think they might be surprised at how many people would create a FemShep just to experience a mind-blowing romance with your nemesis. If FemShep and MaleShep were really different, it would add replayability, too. Maybe in the future games?
I like the idea of this romance because of all the drama it would create. That would've been one hell of a ride, tearing the entire world apart and sending ripples and tsunami across the entire plot!
In any case, I'm grateful that Mac answered.

That line does strange things to my insides.
The realist in me does concede, however, that it is a really, really really long shot.
As in, pretty much impossibly long.
Ah well. This is what the fanbase is for. >.>
