Knowing Wrex, I doubt he would have said anything positive if he did not geniually feel impressed with Liara's biotics and felt that they were strong.

And how do you know how many Geth exactly chased her before she got trapped in the bubble?

Those geth in the ruins are the only ones she knows of. She raised that damn barrier once she saw them (otherwise either she or that krogan wouldn't be there. You don't 'outrun' a krogan - when they charge, they're rather fast.)

She could've at least try to kill that krogan and his few lackeys - she could surely do that, just like with those mercenaries en route to Omega. Instead she quickly raised her sanctuary's protections.

Liara was always a powerful biotic. We know from one of the novels that Singularity is among the most advanced of all biotic techniques. It's almost impossible to form a singularity unless the user is enormously powerful, and Liara is the only squadmate who can use it.

Therum...
I found that krogan battlermaster extremely hard to kill, even with a full squad.

There are those 4-5 ones with the Krogan battlemaster, then there is 3 flyings drones plus atleast 10 more geth that are in the ruins.

That is still alot of Geth, and who knows how many more there was outside exactly?

Ok, so someone who can make singularity apparently cannot handle a krogan. Gameplay aside, singularity makes mass disappear (like in retribution). Krogan or human alike. That she knew how to make it and didn't use it means that she knew she was too inexperienced to use it properly. I can't really find any other explanation.

@ Lizardviking: That army would've killed Shepard as well if you couldn't kill them in small groups. Liara could've done the same thing.

What if all those geth have only split up after she trapped herself?

They couldn't get into the mine in their full numbers. Not even the small ones - especially with a small ramp serving as a chokepoint.

The bigger ones (armatures) wouldn't get in at all.

Liara would not be able to keep them at bay forever. She would not be able to use biotics all the time and she has never been refered to as being skilled with firearms.

You mean she would get tired like Shepard does, that Shepard who is at best of the same biotic strength as Liara is? That Shepard who is able to hold off creatures like geth or husks indefinitely, using only his biotics?

Or like Tela Vasir, who just flies all over the battlefield and just doesn't go down? Granted she is a Spectre, but Liara is supposed to be one of the most powerful asaris alive. At least in how she's depicted post ME1.

Even if she became more confident and experienced during her time with Shepard in Mass Effect 1...I don't see the problem. It would be only logical, she has probably never fought krogan battlemasters, geth or thorian creepers before.

But I think this has nothing to do with TIM :)

And if she couldn't? (When you do Therum last and won't take her to Ilos - no big stretch. Also Normandy post ME1 has been 'searching up and down one sector. For three weeks. With no signs of geth activity' = no fight with the geth).

But you're right. We should probably cut the off topic. And because someone has to start, otherwise we will remain in the infinite cycle of arguments, I will be the one and won't answer further Liara arguments, whether I have a good counter-argument or not. I think you understand.

There is a difference between gameplay and story,  I am not sure biotic Shep would from a story persepctive go through prolonged battles using only biotics.

Or like Tela Vasir, who just flies all over the battlefield and just doesn't go down? Granted she is a Spectre, but Liara is supposed to be one of the most powerful asaris alive. At least in how she's depicted post ME1.

One of the most powerful? I don't think the game ever potrays her as that, very skilled yes, but not the most powerful.

Beside this off-topic. Bring it to the Liara thread if you wish to discuss it futher.

Turning the TIM thread into a discussion about Liara "I'm not very interesting" T'Soni isn't cool.

That's why I, as a reasonable person, decided to be the one to cut it short.Image IPB (not saying the others are unreasonable)

Liara should hit TIM with a singularity.  Anywho I will let you xenophobes who now hate the series anyway have your thread back.

Nope, TIM would win her over with his devious charm.

Back to your story corner? =0

As for me, I'm heading to that floating continent in the sky.

Why? Liara is one of the more "Pro Cerberus" companions.

She didn't give Shepard to cerberus because she loves cerberus.

Welcome back. =D

But she's willing to work with them and really hasn't done anything to betray or backstab them.  She's not hateful to them like Jack or Tali, and while she's not what I would call a Cerberus supporter like Miranda or Jacob, she really has  nothing against them (and, in fact, a lot to be thankful to them about). :wizard:
