No, I'm just hanging out here. You guys are all cool, when you're in a decent mood. *looks at Saphra*

I'm a paragon for life.

If you're against the TIM/Cerberus butchering in ME3 then you can become an honorary blood brother then.

Eternal actually admitted to being biased against non-humans recently, so I think he'd fit into Cerberus just fine.

Not wanting to f*ck them =/= bias

A bias can just be a tendency or an inclination.  If you have a tendency or inclination toward same-species romances, you're biased.

Even TIM dabbles with asari, Eternal. You've gone farther down the scale than he has.

TIM was drunk. That doesn't count.

I imagine he's somewhat of an alcoholic; he always seems to have a drink in hand while talking to Shepard.

I don't know if I want this...

But I am definitely against a magic "We're so EVAL for EVALS SAKE" Cerberus. I'd rather have a Cerberus that makes me think.

Being humanity's savior is a very stressful job for TIM. That's how he copes with it.

That's because TIM is a badass ladies man. This man is clearly in TIM's lineage.

According to Game Informer, he wants to enslave the reapers in order to ensure human dominance, but I'm still saying he's indoctrinated. He may think that he'll be able to enslave the reapers, but keep in mind that when Saren opened the Citadel to the reapers, he still thought that he was saving galactic civilization.

The first time I heard "huzzah" was during Lego Island 2, on the island with the medieval people, and you jousted someone, I think they called him "the Dark Knight."

That was a fun game.

I only played its predecessor back in the day, as well as some other Lego games. Lego Racers, in particular, was quite amusing.

Dem white girls, right?

And I suppose going out for Asian once in a while is also quite nice.

It's not like Shepard's any better either, I suppose; especially after passing out in that bar on the Citadel.

I apologize for just bursting in randomly and off-topic, but I remember playing tons of Lego Island and Lego Racers back when I was in the single-digit ages. Some great memories of those two.

Oh man, you've missed out on plenty of innuendos in this thread back during the heyday of the TIMmancing pre-leak.

And you not forgetting shows how good that one was. B)

The TIM "romance" could be well done and would be to the potential benefit of femShep's character.

Ah, a most excellent choice. I was rather fond of her as well some years back, mainly due to some mates on a forum I frequented some years back being obsessed with her. She came up quite often in a topic where "we" used to post pics of pretty girls, although I only really did so myself once (though the girl I posted was met with universal acclaim). Speaking of the good old days, I suppose this is as good a time as any to post a pic of this fine human specimen, if only for old times' sake:

Her nose still slightly disturbs me if I look to closely at it, though, even after all these years. Still, she helps make humanity something worth fighting for. ^^

Wouldn't a TIM-mance require a face-to-face meeting? Which they've never had?

No. The way the concept was described to me you just have female Shepard flirt with TIM during their meetings.

The idea is that she's trying to wear his guard down, to catch him off guard, to control their (working) relationship.

It's a way for Shepard to try to control the situation.

There would never necessarily ever be a face to face meeting or an actual "romance".

At this point I'm putting all my stock into Dragon Age. Say what you want about them establishing a canon or keeping Leliana alive (they never really made the promises the ME team did), but at least it still has interesting, consistent lore and characters. It probably has to do with the difference in the writing structure between the two teams.

DA writers are organized as they assign certain lore and characters to a specific writing staff. This minimizes the risk of errors as they don't have to trade off the material often. This makes sure there's a good, consistent vision of where certain developments and characters should go.

ME writers... are all over the place from what I've heard. Staff kept coming and going for one and I probably can't fathom how many people have worked on Liara. They share the characters and setting details very liberally amongst each other and that's obviously very prone to error as has been demonstrated by inconsistent characterization, plot holes, and lore/logic errors.

I don't think that TIM would be so easily manipulated.

I never said Shepard would be 100% successful. However I think she could successfully keep him on his guard and make him work hard to keep her check.

It'd be nice to have Shepard not be a jarhead all the time, you know?

Not at all, as far as ME2 goes at the most it would result in some playful flirting and some unresolved sexual tension.

The whole point of a TIM "romance" to begin with would be a unique way for him to seduce/manipulate femshep over to his cause.  You already have what it's in essence a sugar daddy relationship going on with the whole luxury frigate and  the complete financial backing of Cerberus to build off of. All of this could be pretty temping for even a Paragon femshep.

Of course, I'd have it so the question of whether or not TIM is really "interested" in her left ambigious until the next game.
