Totally not true! I'm here because most of the time you guys seem pretty cool, and this topic is quite...deviant from TIM, and the subjects are interesting.

@Eternal & Kaiser: I was always one for long titles. I'll see if I can make it shorter.

@Seboist: I can't believe I missed that last bit. Wild West of the BSN.

I had to keep up with the tradition of sorts, someone sent a PM asking for a ME3 T.I.M. thread. It's too bad the group is so quiet, always trying to think up something for it.

@Jedi: That's a good one, too. Might have to use both.

How about just going with "Brotherhood of Cerberus"?

Agree.
But Bethesda bored me with its side missions (Skyrim). I'm really tired of them.

Which falls onto the lack of focus, you're told about the war and Alduin while you're going around into a mudcrab-filled cave to get some woman's lost mirror which she wants for some reason that's never explained, it certainly hinders the game's plot flow but benefits in the game's overall focus which is "open world do whatever the hell you want", which I'd say is Bethesda's version of Bioware's companions.

Edit: Oh, can't forget the sidequest where you fist-fight a priest either.

Well that's a different topic title than I remember clicking on~.

So, I haven't been keeping up with the comics/books, did Aria destroy the CB or what?

And she has written good material for the DA games.

Such as?

The Dwarf Origins, for one.

The Dwarf Noble origin was good, but the Dwarf Commoner origin was plagued by its black and white presentation (e.g. Beraht was simply a douchenozzle). However, I was under the impression that Daniel Erickson wrote the Noble origin.

Aria vs TiM, who'd win a fight over Omega?

Now I have the urge to make a new banner and a few sig-bars. Hrmm... wonder how long it will take me to get to it.

Anyway, took out the Renegades bit. If there is a preference, I'll take a tally.

**** and Beardy tell Aria that they'll blow up Omega if she doesn't surrender it, she shows up and an Adjutant gets ****, which Beardy shoots and allows Aria to get away. Aria escapes from Omega.

Comic ends with Beardy talking to TIM, TIM has an evil smile on his face.

The ME series would have been better if the story revolved around a galactic war between the citadel races and the terminus ones(Batarian,Krogan,Quarian, etc) with humanity caught somewhere in between. Shepard's alignment options could have been pro-citadel,pro-terminus or neutral/human dominance.

Instead what we get is a glorified "dragon invades the realm" story with a lot of bad fanservice and the depth of a Disney WW2 cartoon.

The Companions tell you that somebody wants somebody beaten up, they don't give any context because it's one of those randomly selected quests with filler dialogue but you end up going to the location on the map and it's a church with a priest praying.

"Time to teach you a lesson!" and you start the beatdown, it's quite... odd, especially since the priest's dialogue is generic Nord dialogue so he's like "SKYRIM BELONGS TO TEH NORDZZZ".

tIM of course, didn't I tell you about the leaked sequence I played?

Using my awesome hackzazor skills, I have recently downloaded a more complete ME3 build than what anyone outside of Bioware has ever seen before, and oh man: the boss battle against the Illusive man is EPIC!  Since the events of Mass Effect 2, his base has landed on a small, desolate planet orbiting the dieing star his base once circled.  After Jack bravely sacrifices herself in an effort to distract an indoctrinated Jacob and Miranda, Commander finally gets to confront the Illusive Man, but than, plot twist!  It turns out that he has been cybernetically augmented by reapers, and transforms into a creature resembling a cross between a terminator and a big cat, shoots a hole in the window with a laser beam, and flees through the opening! After Shepard is sucked out the window, The normandy flies by and drops of the Mako, which Shepard uses to chase tIM.  However, although the Mako's controls have been greatly improved, the terrain was still very difficult to navigate, making it hard to avoid the beams from tIM's laser turret head.  Worst of all, it is capable of deploying miniature dragon's teeth capable of turning anyone who steps on one into a reaper, or puntruing the Mako's tires!  Oh, and did I forget to mention?  The dieing star has become dangerously unstable and the planet rotates very quickly, so if Shepard get's overtaken by the horizon whether it's because he couldn't navigate the 60% slopes or because he ran over a dragon tooth, he will burn to death in the star's gamma rays!  It was cool.

Ah. That's humorous.

Haven't done that one yet; the Companion questline is weird in that you can finish it with very little side stuff done.

I'm trying to get the point across that targeting individuals with fat jokes and calling them hacks at their careers is not okay. This is not about Hepler, but anyone who would be subject to such treatment. How is that hypocritical?

Do you have a crush on Hepler or something? Get some standards.

Seriously, people like you are hopeless. All you do is make excuses for things that are clearly wrong and enable disdain for others.

Yeah, I suppose we kinda are like the group of smoking and/or drinking youngsters you'd find at most highschools; even if you aren't part of 'em, they're always the most entertaining group to hang around with.

And that's sort of fitting as well, as our little Brotherhood has formed itself around our illusive leader, who's known to indulge in those very same things. Not that I shy away from a good drink, mind you.

I prefer the concept of loyalty alignment myself. It's much tangible, honest, grey, and real than ME's concept of morality alignment which cannot be clearly defined, often contradicts itself, and gives you an impression that the game is trying to lecture you.

I once very nearly beat the pope to death in a fistfight.

"Citadel Council, it's come to my attention that spectres have been sent to the Volus exchange and forced to provide funding to your war effort against the Terminus, including eliminating countless other business men and their families so nobody would talk and ruin your shining image of purity.

In addition to this, many of the attacks on colonies by "terminus slavers" were infact orchestrated by you three, according to this. Now, isn't that surprising? What could the mighty Citadel Council gain from this war? Territory? "Confiscated" weaponry? Possibly even Omega itself?

Now, what would the public think if these files were to... accidently be uploaded to the extranet? We'd have civil unrest, I'm pretty sure you'd lose your jobs, wouldn't that be a shame? Thankfully, I'm here to tell you something. I don't care about your interest in the Terminus, I don't mind at all if you had Aria herself in your bed.

*throws file copies onto table* You can't strong-arm us like you can the Volus, this problem isn't going to go away. You decide how this confrontation ends, either you support us against the Batarians or these files go out. You have five minutes, make your choice."

...eh, kinda. I can't think of a good allegory/comparison, so I guess this works.

In a videogame, Ambi, jeez.

As for Ms. Lambda: it's good to have you back, ma'am. Hope you'll stick around longer this time.

Also, it might be nice to put a spoiler warning in the title.

I see.  Well, I'm glad Cerberus took Omega; they need it to secure the Omega Relay, which would be vital for the CB.
