Why does people think TIM would make a good Saren-like villain in ME3? Having him go "Joining them is the ONLY way!" would sorta undermine his entire character in ME2 (and the books if a few comments are to be believed).

Because they want to kill him off. That's really all it amounts to.

I wonder how he recruited them into Cerberus and trust them enough to know the location of his private facility. :P

Well, in the Retribution book it says only the most diehard Cerberus operatives are allowed to work in his personal station.

I wouldn't put it past him to make the same exception for his recreational endeavors, as I doubt that asari matriarch is a die-hard Cerbie. I suppose they're brought in the same way as at Alpha Protocol's Graybox: drugged and/or shipped there in a fashion they can't find out where they are.

Also, any chance those two would be the Terra Firma twins?

Understandable. I just wish more people were supporting him to be a potential (minor due to Retribution possibly) ally in ME3. So you had a choice in teaming up or not.

Me too. I want a choice, I think that would be far more interesting then just having him be the bad guy and that's it.

TIM's age is an issue but a bird lizard with a literal boner and a frog man with lung problems isn't?

Yeah I did and Cerberus does what needs to be done to advance human interests and survival. Every human alive owes a debt of grattitude to Mr. Harper.

Selfless my eye.  He is willing to sacarfice anyone and everyone to get what he wants.  He is actually quite selfish.  He wants power and he doesn't care how many get stepped on along the way.

He is the only character I can't wait to kill in ME3.  Mostly for the lying to Shepard about Liara.  Then after taking out the Shadow Broker, he is keeping an eye on Shepard's relastionship with Liara.  Why?  That is what I want to know.  It's like he is trying to keep them apart.  Again Why?

I still think he had something to do with the Normandy getting ambushed by the collectors in the beginning of ME2, just from what he said to Miranda.  "Make sure we don't lose Shepard."  Or something along that line.  Might have been him/her instead of Shep.

In Retribution he risked his life to try to destroy reaper avatar Grayson in the midst of a Turian attack when he could have ran to an escape pod. He then proceeded to scold Kai Leng for saving him instead of going after Grayson.

That's the mark of a true hero.

If he wanted power, he's been doing a rather poor job aquiring it by devoting his entire organization for the past 30-40ish years to combating the Reapers and spending all his money/effort on it.

Yes ? but Grayson why its avatar ?
Cerberus is the Anemy, Liara recover the Shepard body why have a relationship
Cerberus not heve interest for ather spices, the only interest is dominate the Galaxy
for me Cerberus have tell the Collectors for kill Shepard,
its vary strange TIM speaks to Miranda the need to have Shepard to the part Cerberus.

sorry but Cerberus not is for the Galaxy spices, not is for the variety.

Why not? If it wasn't Grayson, it would've been somebody else. Might as well make it an enemy of Cerberus.

Cerberus is the Anemy

How so? They're allies, they've provided squad / gear / funding / intel.

Cerberus not heve interest for ather spices

Making sure the entire galaxy isn't destroyed by helping Shepard stop the Reapers is indirectly an interest in other species.

Hell, you can be pro-human and still have an interest in other species.

for me Cerberus have tell the Collectors for kill Shepard

That's -exactly- what they did, they helped the Collectors by killing Shepard and spending bajillions of credits to bring him back to kill the Collectors and save humanity (and the universe).

Doesn't make much sense when I put it that way, though.

its vary strange TIM speaks to Miranda the need to have Shepard to the part Cerberus.

How is it strange? Wanting one of the most influential humans in the entire galaxy in your organization that have the same goals as them is strange?

TIM and Cerberus haters tend to be hypocritical like that.

The ultimate goal of Cerberus is to ensure human dominance. This is not a good goal, it's like ensuring aryan dominance (****sm), ensuring arab dominance (Baathist), or so forth. Their objective in the reaper war is to ensure humanity emerges from the ashes on top. To do this they're willing to sacrifice much of earth and combat Shepard's efforts at unifying the galaxy to fight the Reapers. They want the Reapers to destroy every other race before being destroyed themselves.

At least that's my theory.

How's human dominance any worse than the previous Turian/Asari/Salarian dominance? Human dominance will insure humanity's continued survival and prosperity.

Are you any different? I somehow doubt it.

In any case, TIM is willing to sacrifice Cerberus and even his own life. He was prepared to do so in Retribution.
