Here's a superb wallpaper of the man himself that I'm currently using on my desktop.

I salute this everytime I turn on the comp ^

This is excellent. But may I ask: where does he say this?

What I'd like to see in Mass Effect 3 is The Illusive Man as a competent antagonist. I don't want any boss battles
against him or him as a temporary squadmate. He's a planner, a strategist, a noncombatant. Those are where his strengths lie. I want to see reaching him trigger a deep cutscene with several choices and options available. I want to hear his side of the story. And what I really want is to convince him to work with me once more. Not work over me or for me, but with me as an ally. Hand over all his research and help us take down the Reapers.

So long as he isn't forced to kill, completely insane, irredeemably evil, totally indoctrinated, or anything of the like, I'll be pleased. After all, he embodies the best and worst aspects of humanity. Let's see more of the good aspects. I've seen them, just not enough.

Subscribed. He may not be likeable, but he's one of the most interesting characters in the ME universe. I wouldn't mind if he survived, even if that would deprive me of my favorite scenario (Miranda takes over). More than anything else, I want his motivations to be understandable. No megalomania please,  no expectation to make a deal with the Reapers - his should be a ruthless but rational plan you could agree with were you so minded.

I can't recall where he says that. It might be from one of the early Shep/TIM convos around Freedom's Progress.

Oh and the only way Miranda is taking over Cerberus is over my femshep's dead body. She wouldn't let another woman take over her man's organization like that. :P

LOL. So you, too, have a femShep like that?

BTW, maybe the quote is from ME:Evolution.

Both of my femsheps are like that in fact.  There's my main canon one who's conflicted about Cerberus due to agreeing with their human dominance stance and not some of their methods(kept Rawlings' data as leverage and took David out of Overlord) but wouldn't mind hopping in bed with him. The other one is my pseudo-canon who's 100% pro-Cerberus and can't wait to be "debriefed" in person by him.

One of the reasons why I'd like to see my main femshep with TIM is that it's very reminiscent of the Aeon Flux/Trevor Goodchild love-hate relationship(from the cartoon obviously..) and that would be pretty awesome.

I like TIM, he's an interesting character because I think he incites conflicting emotions, which I think is pretty intriguing.

I don't have any characters that want to be yet another bedpost tally of his though :P

TIM didn't spend all that time and money just to have femshep for a fling. <3

I have a bad feeling that Bioware will not allow Femshep to flirt with TIM in ME3. :(

That would be a shame, TIM as a femshep LI has far more potential than any of the previous assortment of clowns she could bed ever did.

TIM and my Shep see eye to eye on some things, but not all. Still would be somewhat more boring without him around, and would be unfortunate if he's indoctrinated.

My femshep disagrees with you there partner. She considers TIM bringing her back from the dead to be the most romantic thing a man has done for a woman in the history of ever and knows she has a future as Mrs.Harper.

Indeed,I found working for him to be far more fun than for the Council or Hackett back in ME1, even when I wasn't pro-cerberus in my first playthrough. Jubileus willing they won't butcher his character in ME3(and give us lopsided morality outcomes) or else I'll be forced to consider the game non-canon.

Lol... well technically... it was Miranda and Wilson who resurrected her. TIM just threw money at them and said: "Here, catch!"

See, now you're being like one of those paragon blowhards who say Cerberus and TIM aren't to thank for the victory against the Collectors.

Shame on you mister.

Or might just be because most players don't want to pick the retarded choice in that scenario?

Yeah, Morinth's implentation as a squadmate was extremely quarter assed. The game doesn't give much of a compelling reason to recruit her besides the novelty of it.

The decision itself just comes out of nowhere,

Renegade Shepard: "I'm not the victim you were hoping for!"

*Samara enters the room and gets into a biotic stalement with Morinth*

Morinth: "I'm as strong as she is, let me join you!!"

Renegade Shepard: " Oh.... okay sure, welcome to the team!"

Nah, that isn't really the case. If you pay a Renegade Shepard is clearly impressed with Morinth when he hears about her and he even compares Samara to Morinth when she first brings her up. He also dismisses the danger by reminding her that he has no plans to sleep with her.

When he meets Morinth, he dominates their interaction.

TIM could pull it off too, I'm sure.

For some reason... one of the comic version of TIM reminds me of Anderson Cooper...
I swear he really reminds me of Anderson Cooper from CNN. Maybe the hair?

But in all seriousness, TIM rules. I finished reading the tie-in novels as a summer reading, and really enjoyed how TIM was portrayed in Ascension and especially Revelation since he was a key player. He is now more mysterious to me.... Can't wait for ME3!!!!
