Keeping aliens as pets. Ah, Joker. Not even TIM dreamt up such an idea.

How else do you think he slept with an asari matriarch? He probably has her chained in his basement under that biotic suppressant.

I guess you never noticed how charismatic TIM can be....

Not in any remotely sexual sense, no. I can sorta see it in Kaidan/Garrus/Jacob/Thane as a theoretical thing; hell, I even have hints of it in Wrex. But imagining TIM in a sexual sense is like imagining Palpatine in one. It just doesn't fit.

Asari Matriarchs are into kinky S&M bondage you say? Damn, TIM likes his women having some freak in them...

Actually, this explains why he switched sides; now he can go on an indoctrination spree for sex purposes.

You'd better rethink the sexual preferences of your femShep then, Seboist...

@Xilizrha:
Your determination to leave not a single redeeming feature in the man is getting quite annoying. Ever heard of complex characters?

Given that Seboist is male, and, judging by his banner, heterosexual, I doubt that he personally caught TIM's sexual aura, just noted general charisma and made up a Femshep who would happen to submit to it because he wants his actual avatar to be TIM.

Well, he's polite. And intelligent. And very good at telling people what they want to hear while arranging for them to only ever be listened to by him. He's skilled enough for me to respect him as a worthy opponent, though I don't find him sympathetic in the same way I did Saren.

TIM is physically attractive, charismatic, and filth rich. No trouble finding a lover. And he doesn't seem that racist. Aliens are pawns, but so are humans. He'll use the xenophobia of his followers, but doesn't share it.

If TIM had been in the Terminus Systems, I'm sure he would have basically been a smarter Elanos Haliat and never mention species once, just Terminus nationality and independence. I don't think he cares about anything except having a power base.

I doubt it. The man knows *something* is out there to do humanity harm. His organization would look different, but have the same ultimate goal.

But what's out there is waiting to do everything harm, no matter what the species. No one had any idea they were targeting humans until ME2.

You can be a human nationalist without being a racist. It only gets mixed up in the ME universe because many species are united in one nation. Multi-species interstellar "nations" don't exist.

lol no, I had my two femsheps created long before I entertained the idea of TIMmancing. I was more focused on Zaeedmancing early on.

Although the idea of romancing my own femsheps isn't TOO farfetched since I consider them more attractive than the female squadmates.....

Sure thing, if you label him as a villain, then that label is all you're ever going to see. It obscures your vision of him completely.

It's only natural. For example, when my Shepard's on the battlefield, and he looks at hostile asari commandos, he doesn't see anything sexy - just moving targets. To simplify, self-preservation instinct is stronger than mating one - or it should be, if one's to survive. (Some Shepards who actually had sex with Morinth despite the full knowledge of who she is managed to successfully defy that principle by dying in her arms.) And you already see TIM as nothing more than an enemy, as a tool to be used and eliminated. (That's why you expect him to do the same to Shepard, too.)

Kaidan/Garrus/Jacob/Thane/Wrex you don't see as enemies, so you don't deny them sexual attraction. Anyone alive and with enough energy would have some of it. Hell, even Legion could be considered attractive, since he's so lifelike. Life and sex go hand in hand. Once you label someone for death, you take away every attribute of life from his aura. Sexual presence included.

If he's steadfast about helping me against the Reapers and doesn't cause problems in the galaxy thereafter, I'm willing to be proven wrong.

I also don't see Zaeed as an enemy, but don't really feel any possibility of sexuality coming off him (note that I"m not attracted to anyone I mentioned, just see how people could be).

I shudder to think what you'd have to say about all those people on BSN who roleplay Shepards who are completely different from them.

Say, Harry Potter series is written by a woman with children, but the protagonist is a boy. He's got romances - granted, they're not very happy, but still. Any...diagnoses for that? Don't answer that, I don't want to know.

J. K. Rowling doesn't have a banner proclaiming support for heterosexuality in a universe already tilted drastically toward it and didn't write Harry as "submitting to his woman." That's why I didn't comment on it.

Not really. You're pretty well established as securing and strengthening the galactic racial caste system, and repeatedly opposed to weakening it because doing so hurts the greater number by making them lose their privilages without elevating an equal number to the same level.

No agreeable way of weakening it as been presented in-game yet. I have no issue with doing so, but simply making humans the sole power is no way to go.

While I commend your consistency on the point, it is extremely unlikely to be able to create an integrated multi-species nation because there will always be major biological boundries that are insurmountable. Not to mention that your stated means of achieving your goal would not result in a multi-species culture, but rather, an Asari dominated one.

I think a more accurate term is Thessian culture, as that's where it originated, but any species can join in. And ultimately it'd only be dominant there because it's the most egalitarian by species and promotes harmony. Giving, say, Tuchankan culture an equally large role would be problematic, as you can imagine.

The current council system needs some fine tuning, not a complete overhaul.

Keep the asari-salarian-human-turian council, give the non-council races a voice (a rotating seat or something) -> perfect

Does anyone actually know what TIM/Cerberus' long term political goals really are?

Is it to see humans control the Council, to see the Council system reformed (and, if so, in what way), is it to see the Council system eliminated (and, if so, repalced with what if anything)?

I think it's time for TIM to update the ol' manifesto. I wanna see an actual Cerberus platform myself.
