I might have played Witcher if it weren't for the fact that I'm forced into playing an unappealing protagonist. So I'll be forever out of the loop on this.

Cause Geralt isn't a blubbering do gooder idealist who turns everything into sunshine and rainbows like Paragon Shepard?

I wouldn't have played an Anders-sympathizing mage in DA2 if that was a requirement. No, it's being forced into playing a male character in a game that actually requires roleplaying.

There's something silly about that statement.

Oh, Witcher doesn't require roleplaying?

Ah Seboist, even paragons can choose to kill the Council and support the Illusive Man. Just like renegades can hate Cerberus and spare people.

You don't have much freedom in your roleplaying, yes.
But that's not what I was getting at.

You don't like happy endings, I don't like playing men. It's taste.

I can roleplay Geralt's motivations and feelings unlike "my" Shepard who has the personal depth of a rock and who might as well be a hermaphrodite with how little his/her gender matters.

Good for you, person who has the same gender and orientation as the only protagonist. I will admit that much of Shepard's personal depth has to be somewhat imagined, but I enjoy the exercise.

I wish we didn't have to choose between feeling warm and fuzzy (Paragon) vs trolling for the lulz (Renegade) but that ship has long since sailed. ME isn't about making hard decision sadly.

Geralt needs to be a femshep LI so he can get her to loosen up and show some personality and emotion. Your femshep would thank you for it. <3

Let's just say that the railroad Liara friendship is a traumatic experience I'd rather forget.

And now you know how I'd feel playing Witcher.
Regardless, while that apparently suits you, it was LotSB that suited me, very well.

You're the only major enemies with opaque-helmeted uniforms.

Cerberus are the convenient whipping boys like the Batarians.

I'm shocked to hear that a Liaramancer liked LOTSB.

You've never spoken to a Liaramancer before in your life, have you?

In the light of this news, I feel like singing a song. Here you go, a TIM and Cerberus song (and humanity first Shepard's). Remember that Cerberus is sponsored by the Earth.

We are humanity.

Thrice - Music Box

We move for all mankind, a million miles from everything we've ever known,
We're on their hearts and minds, a million heads are bowed to bring us safely home,
Hemmed in by emptiness, a million ways that everything could be undone,
This hollow in my chest is filled with reasons not to sing, but I found one -

I know,

We are not alone, we feel an unseen love,
We are sons and heirs of grace,
We are children of light that never dims, love that never dies,
Keep your chin up child and wipe the tears from your eyes.

In sleep we saw ourselves, a million years we had been waiting there it seems,
While someone weaves a spell, a million stars look on in witness to our dreams,

I know,

We are not alone, we feel an unseen love,
We are sons and heirs of grace,
We are children of light that never dims, love that never dies,
Keep your chin up child and wipe the tears from your eyes.

We feel an unseen love
We are children of light

We are not alone, we feel an unseen love,
We are sons and heirs of grace,
We are children of light that never dims, love that never dies,
Keep your chin up child and wipe the tears from your eyes.

Stand ready and tall, reflect the light.

in memoriam.

Wait, laecraft is female? Hm. You learn something new every day.

Ah well. The song works just as well for egalitarian Paragons.

Laecraft is a good Cerberus blood sister. You could learn a lot from her.
