Is this a glitch, or just another bizarre, Dragon Age II disturbance?

Last I checked, Fenris is not a woman.  ...Or is he?

(Is this a glitch in the recently installed patch; or does it happen in DAII regardless?  Any and all information on this unfortunate act 2 dialogue appreciated.)

Aah yes; that might be it...  But I did pick the heartbreak option after sleeping with Isabela, so I would have thought that would cancel it out...  But I suppose just sleeping with her at all is enough?

I watched a youtube video where someone sexed Anders and then...basically told him to eff off when he asked to move in. It was painful to watch. Anders was about to start crying, and was all like "but..I..we..I told you how I felt!!! YOU USED ME " and Hawke is like yah wtf ever, leave. and then he is like "I WON'T FORGET THIS!" and storms out...and then starts planning to blow up the Chantry.

First his cat, then merging with Justice, then Karl gets tranquiled, and now the person he's been wanting to sex for 3 years pretends to like him and then kicks him out...oh yeah, this guy is ready to screw EVERYONE over.

I still want to know where Anders says "I have seen you with Fenris" I think that must have been some of the many lines cut from the game because I've never seen it, only heard it in fan made video's from people running through all the game files.

If you sex Fenris first and then Anders comes to your house he will ask if you are sure you want him there because he thought you were with Fenris (he does it about Merrill and Isabela too) Anders is also such a jerk about any other companion that sleeps with Hawke lol..it's just so funny knowing he is so judgmental when he's about to blow up a building. But he's quite jealous.

I have and he has never said that line ingame. He just says "Are you sure you want me here? I thought you and Fenris...Or did the beast finally turn on you?"

In regards to that video, lol, I honestly wonder how any type of long-term relationship would work with a Mage Hawke/Fenris. I mean, sure, he sticks by her at the end but can you IMAGINE how many more "magic" arguments they are going to be having (even on friendship romance) in the near future? How long would Fenris stick around to fight Templars? And Anders...he'd definitely stay but how much deeper into the cause is he going to get (if he can even go much deeper) and how willing would he be to put everything else before Hawke?

Maybe I'm crazy, since people would definitely disagree with this given Isabela's background and everything that happened in Act 2 but she honestly seems like the best romance option. She makes it pretty clear in Act 3 that she'd rather side with mages, and also that she has plans for her and Hawke and she won't let anything get in the way of that. It seems like she would follow Hawke if it was Hawke's choice to keep up the fight against Templars...she definitely proves her loyalty in my opinion.

But eh, I'm just casually throwing out thoughts. If you want to keep in line with the whole "tragic" vibe of DA2 Anders seems like the best choice for a female Hawke, but I've always thought that long-term Isabela is a pretty good option..she's not blowing up chantries or whining constantly about how much she hate mages even though her girlfriend is a mage.

The Isabela romance causes a lot of glitches apparently. It also commonly glitches Varric's ending speech where the game will think she was your final romance even if you just slept with her once then ended the romance.

Yeah, she screwed me over there, too.  First playthrough I romanced Merrill, but low and behold, I somehow ended up with Isabela never leaving my side.

I thought this glitch was fixed by the patch, though.  This most recent Isabela fumble, however, was apparently not.

I found the mage Fenris love match a great romance because of the pure irony that he ultimately does end up declaring love for a mage. It is obvious he thinks she is the exception rather than the rule when it comes to mages and thus it is utterly believable that the reason he sleeps with her and then walks out is that "I wanted you to hate me". Three years of rocky romance later he finally relents and admits his feelings. Mind you I had an inkling when he warned off Zevran. As for Anders, does no one else find the idea of sleeping with someone when he says that Justice doesn't approve and you keep seeing that glow behind the eyes, just a bit odd?
