Been playing through ME2, and on the Citadel News Network they mention a few times about this device the Batarians have and how it could be used as a potential weapon.  If it becomes something more then a background blurb in ME3 I seriously hope they don't cop out and say the Reapers can't handle certain weather extremes.  That would suck.   Reapers killed off by frostbite LOL

Using it against the husks might work out better.  Not killing them out right, but perhaps leveling the playing field or giving a slight advantage to Shepard.

Thoughts?

Thats a funny thought but I dont think thats going to happen at all. The reapers can live in dark space for at least 50k and they do just fine. I also think that the way we fight the reapers will be something interesting since I doubt that bioware will build up an enemy (reapers) over a period of 2 games just to kill them off in a stupid and easy way.

I think Ashley/Kaidan blew it up. The news report mentioned that a Spectre had been dispatched to Batarian space. Since the batarians are a human problem, it makes sense to send the Human spectre candidate.

Agreed, I heard that news story after posting this and given that the VS is a Spectre now it makes sense that would be their trial run perhaps as a Spectre much like Anderson and Saren.

The batarians are worried about global warming and want to reverse it, it's a new subject in their schools. They believe that if they get rid of all batarian made CO2 (Batarian EPA considers CO2 a pollutant, even though plants depend on it for their livelihood) their planets will no longer experience any warming.

Please stay away from modern political discussions. This is the incorrect venue, and it just serves to create flame-wars.

Or you're just trolling.
