P.S. To avoid such kind of threads, I suggest the devs add to the Codex clear statements - what kind of races can be gay and what can not.
For instance, I highly doubt there are gay salarians.

This thread is.... interesting, at least.
Also, AngelicMachinery, a friendly warning (I mean no offense):
Posting pictures like that can be seen as trying to bait people. Which equals a ban 'round these parts.

There should be restrictions just like there have always been restrictions. The expierence is a guided one: us playing as Shepard in a world filled with exsisting characters who seem beilevable (science fiction aside).

Eh it's not bro's kissing or nothing, it's just Arl Howe playing dress up. I'll stop though, even though there is absolutely nothing offencive about the image.

I thought ME was about players playing the role of Shepard, not fanboys choosing the sexual orientation of other characters. Please no.
They've already let them choose who's possibly interested in Shepard *coughs* Tali and Garrus *coughs*
Yeah and they also chose who you can't have a relationship with: Wrex, Grunt, Legion, Samara, Mordin, Kasumi, and Zaeed.
Hey, Bioware, when I talk to EDI I sense a lot of sexual tension. Let her be a romanacable option....PLEASE?!?!?!
-sighs- I repeat, nothing intellegent to say?
It would be simply sloppy story telling to make everyone bisexual just for the sake of pleasing a few fans, so they can get it on with their favourite character with their preferred gender.

I can't believe I need to argue belivabilty in a video game, but making everyone bisexual is just no believable. Sorry.
It would be cool to add a new character as bisexual, or making 1 existing character as bisexual, but anything other than that is just overkill.
Hell, what is more believable than coming on to someone; with the end result of them shutting you down? I can already happen in ME2, and it should stay like that. It makes for a more reaslistic romancable atmosphere.
And enough already with this stupid chatter of "She might have been scared to come on to Shepard at the time," or "not everyone is aware of their sexuality all the time and it can change because of self discovery." Yeah we get it; no one is disupting that.

Did you even play that game, or are you repeating stuff you heard?

Simple solution:
1. Don't turn any old charachters into bi, so fans can stop worrying.
2. Make only new charachters bi (not all, just 1 maybe)
3. We already have enough bi people in Mass Effect anyway (Liara, Samara, Kelly, Shiala) and i also heard Kaidan will probably be bi aswell.

Lesbians don't act the way Kelly told you Tali did. When a male Shepard had been entering a room, Tali started acting like a woman who tries to get the attention of a man.

And I doubt Tali is lesbian lol. That would be so embarassing. Lesbians don't act the way Kelly told you Tali did. When a male Shepard had been entering a room, Tali started acting like a woman who tries to get the attention of a man.

I think Tali could be a bi squadmate in ME3. There is precedent for it as she said she would link suits w/ femshep. Whether she will or not, remains to be seen.
1.Zaeed: So, did ya hear about what Shepard did to Kal Reegar?
2.Jacob: No. What happened?
3.Zaeed: She and Tali linked suits. Kal got jealous and confronted Shepard about it and then she proceeded to beat the hell out of him.
4.Jacob: A little extreme, but still, if you’re going to play with fire.
5.Zaeed: What do you mean?
6.Jacob: Shepard should have known how Kal felt and therefore shouldn’t have linked suits with Tali.
7.Zaeed: Linking suits is about trust. Nothing else.
8.Jacob: I don't know. It's pretty intimate. I’m not saying Shepard went “planet scanning” with Tali or anything, but linking suits is definitely in the same ballpark.
9.Zaeed: Whoa there just a goddamn minute. Linking suits and “planet scanning” as you call it isn’t in the same ballpark. It’s not the same league. Hell, it’s not even the same goddamn sport!
10.Jacob: Then let me ask you this. Would you ever link suits with another guy?
11.Zaeed: ****** off!
12.Jacob: Come on, Zaeed, I trust you. I think we could be friends. Let’s link suits together.
13.Zaeed: Go to hell!

Oh boy, I hope not. I think not everyone should be bi/******, some should be but ,at the same time, some should be straight.
Plus Tali has never shown any sign of liking FemShep in ME2 but with MaleShep she reacts differently.
Wrong I think Tali showed many interest in FemShep in ME 2, and we all knew she was suppose to be BI because all the game guide said that Tali and Garrus where romanceable by anyone. They just chicken out at last minute.
I want to romance Tali with FemShep in ME 3
lol Tali would be my second choice for a romance option in the ME series (if it were available in ME2) but I've romanced Liara for so long I just like her better. But Tali is so cute and I wanna cuddle her too.. o_O I may have to create a seperate fem!Shep to romance her in ME3 just for kicks

It will be forced down my throat if it turns out that Bioware deicded to pander to every fan and make everyone bisexual.Kachie wrote...

Now that is more intellegable.
Though I have one issue... What is it you are debating on now?
Is it you don't wish for Tali to be bisexual, or you don't care?
Saying something like adding a new character that's bisexual is one thing, and would be an interesting idea, especially since most people have established relationships with another character already. (For example, some people are still devoted to say Liara, Kaiden, or Ashley), or in the second game have made a new relationship with one of the new characters, OR an existing one that had opened up in that game (Garrus and Tali).
Saying maybe making 1 existing character bisexual would be ok, means arguing against the chance of having Tali an available romance option in ME3 for Femsheps would be futile and a waste of your own breath. Maybe even slightly hypcritical (maybe).
I'm not saying make the whole damn crew bisexual, no no... and I'd agree in part with it's unbelievable, but at the same time so is flying around space in a ship, with an alien crew, and a race completely compiled of one gender, but can procreate with any other species of any gender... But I'm not about to complain because I love the lore, and the alien cultures they came up with (I did not just get an N7 tattoo yesterday because I find the entire game's lore and what not unbelievable or even believable).
It just so happens some people believe Tali has made a few hints at liking fem!Shep would love to play that out over others.
Just because the options are there, doesn't mean it's being forced down your throat, or that you have to use those options. It's simply an open option for people who aren't all straight males, or females. It'd be there to make the other gamers who happen to be bisexual or even gay feel more comfortable and they can enjoy the game on a different level.
