This thread is getting a little lulzy.

Getting?

It's already there? I don't think so, just a little more and it's definitely lulzy.

The problem with that attitude is that the precedent of inclusiveness has already been set.
Are gays somehow less deserving than people who wanted to romance gangly bird-monsters?
I think not.

Ah but people go looking to bang aliens in a sci-fi game. Captain Kirk syndrome.

Yeah, and some people go looking to bang a same-sex partner in a game about the future where, ideally, humanity would have gotten over its stuffy and narrow-minded attitude about same-sex partnerships.

.....equality syndrome.

You fail to address the issue.

Some people want to romance aliens.

Some people want to romance humans.

Some people want to romance humans of the same sex.

Some people want to romance aliens of the same sex.

If we are already catering to people who have a somewhat non-standard attraction (to alien characters), then how can you say that it is pandering to provide for gay romance? What makes xenophilia more palatable than homosexuality?

I use to be a democrat... then they wrote S. 978 <_<

which you know will never be passed, most of America would end up in jail seconds after and there's just not enough prisons for it to start with, and it's ridiculous to finish it

Hope you're right but Obama hasn't withdrawn support for it yet...

As much of an issue S.978 is, this is not the thread or place to talk about it.

Even so, just wanna make it clear I hate politics

I... don't know if you can romance Tali as femShep. In fact, I'm not sure if any of the previous LI's will be available to both Sheps come ME3.

If I had to make a guess on old LI's suddenly available for both Sheps, my choices would be Ashley and Kaidan. New LI's? Vega aka Big Ben and Joker.

I've heard from several sources that whoever's an LI won't be known until the game's release. I doubt they'll even do what they did for DA2 and release who's romanceable on V-day. I'd rather be surprised myself, even if it means waiting eight months. *shrugs* They say good things come to those who wait, yes? Image IPB

Entitlement syndrome is more like it. Maybe you're playing the wrong game if that's your primary concern.

The option for a femshep/Tali romance was clearly considered in ME2

Start at 3:50
Got no problem with optional bisexual squadmates/random npc's. If you don't want it then don't go for it, thats why its optional.

When all the people overly obsessed with romances realize that the SIMS is more suited to their tastes rather than ME3.

Not really, considering I have never expected Bioware to add certain content to suit my tastes, and whined about discrimination when they didn't.

Seems like your whining now,  and using the argument that it doesn't affect the heterosexual majority so it shouldn't be included.

The only turning 'everhone bi' that doesnt make sense is the humans, but if an alien is going to fall in love with a human (or vice versa) i dont really think you should/could qualify it as being 'gay', even if the other party fullfils the same gender stereotype as you do. I remember seeing this show on tv once (something with cops, its been a long long time ago) where the male-looking aliens were the ones that got pregnant.

--> on a side note, i'm fairly certain tali has the hots for any gender of sheppard, if you played LotSB you get to see her 'google' searches.

I know, right? Saying that straight males are entitled to hot lesbian action because of their Captain Kirk syndrome while gay gamers should GTFO isn't hypocritical. Nope. Not one bit!

Seems like your twisting his words just to make him loog bad.  Because its a lot easier than actually talking to him like a person

Perhaps this is because your sexuality is accounted for by default, and thus you have never had any cause to do so.

The option for a femshep/Tali romance was clearly considered in ME2.

You do realise that it's cut content right, it hasn't been fully removed, but it's still not accessible under normal circumstances?

You know, like the cut content of pretty much any movie, TV series or game ever made?

Just because it was thought about doesn't mean that it should have, or was ever going to be, implemented in the final cut of the game. I think we all remember Hot Coffee for GTA San Andreas. No? Google it if you haven't heard of it. It used ingame content, too. But it was content that wasn't supposed to be seen or heard.

Nope, I'm arguing against these absurd requests/demands based on the fact that it's not worth pandering to such a small portion of players.

Whining arguing it's all the same on the internet.  You sound like a hypocrite when you spout things about "Gay entitlement" when your primary argument is based on the fact that homosexuals are a minority,  if one argument is based on entitlement so is the other.  Hell,  if you can accept that I might actually be able to take you seriously.

Why is this hard for you to get? Nobody is entitled to everything but Bioware wanted to include some romance options in the game. Considering that this is a minor feature they should aim for the majority of male and female players. If you don't get your m/m options because of this that's a shame and you aren't owed anything special because of your personal tastes.

I only play FemShep and was quite disappointed that I couldn't romance Tali in ME2. So BioWare better fix this in ME3. :P

Don't want Tali to be interested in women? Easy solution: play with Sheploo or don't romance her as FemShep. Or are you people so disturbed by one single line implying Tali is interested in FemShep? Does it really destroy the character for you? Than one line?
