Once I installed the game it asks me to log in.
I promted My user details and pass, i get a key icon whatever then sundenly I get a error pop up

We're sorry, an error has occurred
There is a problem with your game's setup. Please reinstall your game.


I tried reinstalling and even tried patch 1.03, evry time i hit play i get this window, cant even put user name and pass anymore.

Occasionally, there can be a corrupt file left over if you have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and are getting the same error message. I set a temporary password on your account and logged into the game with no issues.

Before uninstalling and redownloading again, I would recommend trying a couple of things:
If you are on Windows Vista/Windows 7, there is a program called the User Account Control that can intermittently cause connectivity issues and crashing issues. To disable it, please follow the instructions in the following FAQ article: http://support.ea.co...etail/a_id/380/

I would also recommend disabling any antivirus software that may be aggressively blocking the login, which could cause the error message.

Please note: This contains instructions to modify/delete registry entries. You must follow the instructions to the letter as removing the wrong registry key can cause a critical failure of the PC.

I tried all of the above.
As for the registry I did it step by step but the delete registry didnt seem to work since the lines that I needed to remove arent there.
I normaly didnt had trouble playing this game on win XP.
But now having windows 7 64b. im having troubles, sadly only this game.

My friends are proposing using a no-cd patch, but im not sure thats legal.

The simple way is to uninstall, delete all game related folder is both documents and program files then, run a reliable registry cleaner such as Ccleaner or Eusing's free registry cleaner. Reboot then install and update.

Thanks! that seem to work.
Strange thing is the game just started, and i was able to log inside the game.

The log in inside windows was a pain in the backside. dont know why it didnt ask for it this time.
But im glad it didnt..
