So, in the end, which side do YOU think will come out with more/less, stronger/weaker, or will they just stand with relatively the same?

Pure Paragon or pure Renegade - which do you think will come out with more in the end?

Paragades and renegons. Because we're amazing and context matters.

In all seriousness, it depends on more/less. Pro-human renegades might prefer one ending while 'let's hold hands and sing we are the world' paragons might like a different one.

As a renegade I'll say paragon simply because Bioware never punishes their paladins.

Thusfar, there has never been a Renegade choice that provided a real advantage over the Paragon alternative. If that continues (and it's possible that it will)... then Paragons will win out like they always have.

Paragon will have everyone happy dappy and "let's work together!" and Renegade will Humanity somehow dominate the galaxy with the other races just grumbling and not doing anything. Both "pure" endings will be equally stupid.

Paragon without a doubt.

How about choosing what YOU think fits the situation, and not conforming to one side of the spectrum? Being completely paragon or completely renegade is boring.

Can't blame her. Paragades and Renegons kind of got punched in the face in ME2.

Being a paragade somehow means I can't be intimidating/charming so Ihave to cheat (which whatever, I game on PC no problem) but it's still utterly riduclous. Then of course is some of the headdesk worthy idiotic things pure renegade and paragon Shepard says.

"OMG MORDIN YOU MURDERER! YOU KILLED ALL THE KROGAN KILLED DUE TO THE GENOPHAGE!!111!!"
"NOOOO MORDIN! DON'T KILL YOUR STUDENT YOU'RE NOT A MURDERER!"

...wat

Not that renegade's much better with their "WOW CERBERUS! JUST POINT ME AT THE REAPERS I LOVE TO FIGHT! IT'S A THRILL! I'D HAVE JOINED YOU IF YOU OFFERED!"
"WTF CERBERUS! HOW COULD YOU! I HATE YOU! **** OFF!!! HOW DARE YOU USE THE ENDS JUSTIFY THE MEANS ON ME!

...he can't even stay consistant. :crying: "Pure" paragon/renegade makes me wanna shoot him in the face. He's annoying. Pure paragon sh*ts rainbows and doesn't seem to understand the meaning of pragamtism, and pure renegade is such a idiot jerkass. Then in ME2 they both drop a dozen IQ points.

The game was never meant to be played "pure". Only nunzkullz play as a pure anything. If you don't want contradiction, you have to take the matter into your own hands.

Apperantly, pure = retard now (I agree to a level)

The game was never meant to be played pure? Yeah, tell that to the choices that takes about 75-80 % of the Paragon/Renegade bars to activate.

The game sort of railroads you into going paragon or renegade if you want to be able to do something as simple as get your crew to STFU and STFD and think about how stupid they're being.

What bugs me most about the paragon/renegade system in ME2 is that it seems to be posed somewhat on your reputation, even though half of what happens in ME2 is basically The Greatest Story Never Told for most of the mission (hell, ME2 is even listed as an example) and therefore using intimidation or charm doesn't make sense, when applying it to people who have no idea who you are.

A 'pure' renegade will most likely end up in some deep s**t and have a really hard fought battle, IF they are successful. A 'pure' paragon might have an easier time, but the path to the end will be different. I play neither but usually a RENEgon 70/30, renegade has better dialogue (to me) than paragon, but some instances call for a paragon response so as to be NOT totally stupid.
The goal is to build a team, first your loyal squadmates and then additional allies for the final showdown. A 'pure' renegade will most likely pi@@ off a LOT of potential allies, while a 'pure' paragon might seem more like a wuss (look at our US politicians).

Wrong. Charm/Intimidation has nothing to do with reputation, it has to do with charisma. Furthermore, more then half of the people you meet know who you are.

In that case she scores shouldn't influence your persuasive ability as charisma has little to do with morality.

More than half is not all. Kenn had no idea who the hell you were, neither did Harrot. The C-sec officer with Lia'Vael and that little volus douche don't as well.

We build charm and intimidate through playthrough, essentially exercising it, but somehow, someone who hasn't figured out who you are is sufficently frightened of you? You have to be a saint or a douche to be sufficently charming or intimidating enough? It doesn't make sense.

It makes sense. You don't need to be galaxy wide famous to scare the **** out of someone or seduce a chick.

As a Renegade, I know that BioWare will cater to all the Paragons. Why you ask?

If they screw Paragons, Paragons will incessantly wine that the so called "Good Guys" didn't win.

If they screw Renegades, Renegades will probably just say, **** this, and move on.

So there gonna go with whatever causes less people to wine on there forums,

Although since Paragons are gonna probably wine about something anyways, they should just go for an awesome Renegade ending where humanity establishes dominance over the galaxy and forms the Terran Empire.

I find it kind of hilarious how renegade players are so upset that doing all those "one way" choices lead to oneway street. What you expect? Really? Paragons try to build better relations and work for option that more benficial for galactic community. It shouldn't come as surprise that you don't win any friends by punching and shooting everyone who gives even little room for you to do so.

But hey, you have chosen the certain path, you need to go with it. Being "badass" has conciquences too and really no one likes people acting all "anti-social" on others. You won't win many friends with that.
