If there was a desire demon romance option, would it be a true "stays with you until the end" romance, a brief affair, or would the romance be all part of the demon's plot and ploy? The latter would be interesting - if your character gets involved with a demon who is merely using him/her - how long would that possession/illusion last? What happens when your character (if ever) is brought out of the thrall state?
Somehow I think that if the latter ever happened, lots of folks would cry foul along the lines of "my character would never fall for that."

How does something like this end well?
I could see doing it as a side quest, but even then the easy availability of spoilers make any chance of a surprise ending nigh impossible.

Hm.... It would actually be fun if written correctly - a kind of years long power struggle where both try to use the other for something. For example a demon may want Hawk for something that allows her influence but requires keeping the victim in their right mind (hiding her from chantry and templars, providing access to other ways to feed) A smart demon that learned that you can stay in this world if you do not attract to much attention - take a sip here and bite there and than release the victim so no one is the wiser.
And Hawk trying to keep her under control and possibly make small deals for powers and assistance.
So in the end Hawk may end up with a "demon familiar" of a kind, but will have to do some questionable things to get there - she still needs to feed after all...
May be a fun story for a mage character especially
