im in chapter two, the archeologist area. I need to find the cheif troll and get his head to give to one of hte archologists. I forgot his name, it starts with a L. Anyways, ive been through the entire caves. Returned Janis to her son, did all that. Killed every troll btu I cannot find the troll head What cave is it in? im so lost, been circling around the area for hours.

is this mision a must to go further in the game? Can I just skip this mission? thank you so much for any input fellow gamers

No. The only critical elements are those which help to identify where the Cult is located.  All others are just for fun and story depth. The troll cave does contain a piece of evidence, but there are other sources even more vital to moving on.

I have gotten the troll's head. The archologist is always fighting the practice dummy and busy. How do I give hiim the head?

I can't look at the game, but that doesn't sound right. Are you sure that's the person to whom you need to give the head? If so, perhaps if you wait a few turns he will finish with the dummy and you can talk to him. I vaguely recall this problem, and it seems it was one of the two things (I was trying to give it to the wrong person at the wrong time, or just needed to wait for him to finish with the dummy).

Eventually, he will respond.  Be patient and allow him to to reach the end of his practice cycle.  It sometimes time a while.
