Well i just installed DA2 on my new computer, and tried but failed to get my char over to this computer.. And now my harddrive on the old computer fked up. So i cant get that profile back.

What i wounder is:

1: Is there a way to get my profile trough bioware or something?
2: If i cant get my profile back. - can i somehow skip through all ive played and start from where i was last time.
3: Any other thoughts?

Sorry, your characters and saved games are saved on the HD only not online here.

The death throes of hard drives can be rather interesting.... Sometimes you can slave the drive to another PC and recover data from it. Even though you can't boot from it, you still may be able to get the data you're looking for.

Try sticking putting the drive in a plastic bag and freezing it for about 30 minutes or so, then hook it up to your new PC as a secondary drive.

The exact location of the folder you need will vary slightly depending on the OS of your old PC.

XP: C:\\Documents and Settings\\<userID\\My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2\\Characters\\
W7: C:\\Users\\<userID>\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2\\Characters

Also, remember that W7 allows you to change the location of your documents folder, so if you did that, it'll be somewhere else.
