Kal's is definitely in my top 5.

I guess it wouldn't fit well though , he's been introduced as a more archetypical kind of marine. Plus we already have truck loads of "bad arses" which is probably why Kal stands out of the crowd.

I just caught a rerun of the Firefly episode where Jayne went back to his hometown, and was a hero. Next to Mel (Nathan Fillion), he was my favorite character. Loved that series.

I had no idea Jayne Cobb/Adam Baldwin was Kal'Reegar, how funny. I must admit, in my last pt, I did really enjoy his voice and thought he sounded familiar, but the lights didn't come on until I saw this thread.

Being a Talimancer I suspect I may have a little bias as to  a Kal/Tali romance. But i would like to see where supporters of this romance are coming from. so if anybody wants to do a little friendly debating im up for it.
O I am still a huge supporter of Kal btwB)

Well I'm not the type to play match makers; But i thought the way kal still called Tali "Ma'am" at the trial was too adorable for words.

Also I think Tali is too nice a girl for any of my Sheps , except for my "Joke" ultra paragon Sheppard ,which would no doubt go after Jack anyways... Like Black Arachnia & What was his name , Shadow wolf ... Thunder wolf? from "Beast wars" . Wow , nostalgia blast! Also getting off topic.

Point is that right after the trial , the dialogue between the two got me convinced they belong together.

The whole "ma'am" and"Kal. Just call me Tali" thing? i can see your point in that. But to me i always felt how he continues to call her ma'am afterwards showed that they would just be close friends..... unless it turned into some role playing fantasy of Tali's:blink:

Tali want's Kal to call her by her name...doesn't he say he's 'working on it' (or something like that). I take this as a hint that they have an evolving relationship and believe that their interactions suggest that there's a mutual attraction. Kal's hesitant to change the dynamic from professional to personal (maybe because she's from a high status family).

The "Tali/Ma'am" dialogue was adorable and what made me want them to get together down the line. It's also that Reeger is such a practical character, a solider, that it compliments Tali more idealistic tendencies.

I've yet to play as maleShep so I can't say I'm a Talimancer maybe that's why I'm all for my lil'sis and Kal.

I'll be interested to see Kal's involvement in Quarian politics and also in the follow up missions on the  Dark energy problem affecting star in Geth/Quarian space.

I'm guessing he would still be involved with the teams sent in to gather info , he might even get a promotion of some sort. I wonder how much he knows about the Reapers. He's probably in a good position to overhear concerns about Dark energy. And he's fought enough Geth to know they aren't capable of tech that advance by themselves .

In contrast to Tali however, its doubtful he would support war with the Geth either way; He might even be a far better mediator than soldier in that regard (I haven't brought Legion to the trial yet. Its something I'm going to do now ; See what Kal's reaction will be ).

Seems like Kal could replace a lot of Tali's function as a bridge to Quarian affairs should Tali die in the Suicide mission.

Also , i propose making This or This song , the official Kal Reegar Theme song.

I'm not a Talimancer but I am a little baffled by the Kal'Reeger/Tali following. What is it about them that causes people to think they'd be a perfect couple or whatever? They've had a few scenes in the game together at most and none of them really indicate to me they might have feelings for one another.

I don't want to speak for others , but i just think it would add an other layer of "realism" to the game.

Its the next step to party banter. Its interesting , to me at least , having things happen , preferably character development, without Sheppard's involvement. This is true for any other characters , I'd probably say the same thing about Miranda & Jacob getting back together again.
